Sharks men play to scoreless tie
Gerrit Arzberger scored at 4:23 and Dean Phillips added a goal at 10:02, but the Hawaii Pacific men’s soccer team played to a 2-2 tie against Holy Names on Saturday at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium.
The match lasted 110 minutes.
The Sharks moved to 2-4-2, 0-3-1 PacWest.
Carlos Vasquez-Perez (30:55) and Josiah Romero (85:31) scored for the Hawks (1-6-1, 1-1-1).

Carlee Reader scored twice as the Hawaii Hilo women’s soccer team routed Academy of Art 4-0 on Saturday at the UHH field.
Reader scored at 11:21 and 73:34 for the Vulcans (4-3-1, 1-2-1 PacWest). Bryana-Marie Ebbers (5:25) and Clarissa Guerrero (61:37) also scored for Hilo.
The Urban Knights (0-7-1, 0-3) had just one shot on goal.

UH women golfers second in Palm Desert
The University of Hawaii women’s golf team shot a two-round total of 24-over-par 600 and was in second place at the Wyoming Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate on Saturday in Palm Desert, Calif.
The Rainbow Wahine’s Emma Lower is second at 3-over 147 and Kaci Masuda is tied for third at 149 at The Classic Club. Santa Clara’s Marni Murez leads at 144.
Hawaii, which shot rounds of 299 and 301, is two strokes behind leader Santa Clara in the 12-team tournament.
