Gov. David Ige and state education leaders will discuss how to design Hawaii’s public schools for the future in a program to be aired live Tuesday evening.
The panel discussion will feature Board of Education Chairman Lance Mizumoto, Superintendent Christina Kishimoto, Principal Keith Hayashi of Waipahu High School and Stephanie Mew, 2016 State Teacher of the Year. It will be moderated by Oceanit’s Ian Kitajima.
The program, “Designing Schools for Hawaii’s Future,” will air from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Olelo Channel 49 and Maui’s Akaku Channel 54, and also stream live at olelo.org/49.
It also will be available for viewing on Olelo Video On-Demand Channel 52, as well as youtube.com/olelocm and olelo.org/olelonet within 48 hours of the event.
