Parking’s no problem for Golden Knights

This week marks the start of the National Hockey League season and Las Vegas’ first year of being part of a professional sports league with the Vegas Golden Knights. In addition to the fancy T-Mobile Arena that will host NHL games, a 3,000-car parking garage has just opened behind the Excalibur — about a 15-minute walk to the arena — to alleviate parking concerns.
Prices for games start at $50 for standing-room tickets, with $75 the lowest for nosebleed seats. Don’t worry, T-Mobile was built with hockey in mind and has a steep seating grade at the top of the bowl looking down onto the ice, so those seats should be pretty good. The Knights’ home opener is Oct. 10 against the Arizona Coyotes.
Downtown sliders
Las Vegas’ second White Castle Hamburgers opened this weekend. It’s located downtown at the corner of Fourth and Fremont at the east end of the canopy. Las Vegas’ first White Castle opened two years ago at Casino Royale.
Deli swap
After 23 years, Stage Deli has closed at MGM Grand. Filling the void, two Canter Delis are set to open, one at Tivoli Village on the west side of town and another at the LINQ Promenade.

Autumn at Bellagio
The autumn display is up at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. It features giant pumpkins, a talking tree, and two 19-foot peacocks with tails made from 14,000 roses. The display is free to view 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Party on
The free Sunday football viewing party in the Westgate Las Vegas showroom is back.
After trying to charge a $5 entrance fee last year, then discontinuing the party completely, it’s back as it was before (free), with giant screens airing all the games, food specials starting at $3, and buckets of five beers for $15.
Question: What happens to bets in a case like the UFC fight between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier that was ruled a win for Jones, then amended to a disqualification a month later?
Answer: Nothing. The decision after the fight stands for wagering purposes. There are no adjust-ments (just a lot of complaining).
