DARRYL OUMI / SPECIAL TO THE STAR-ADVERTISER

The Rainbow Wahine celebrated a point during tonight’s match against Northern Arizona.

Senior middle Emily Maglio put down 10 kills as Hawaii swept Northern Arizona 25-12, 25-10, 25-12 in a nonconference volleyball match tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.

The Rainbow Wahine (5-5) finished with 13 aces, including career highs for sophomore setter Norene Iosia (5) and senior defensive specialist Clare-Marie Anderson (3). Maglio was in on six of the team’s seven blocks, her solo stuff ending Set 1.

Senior libero Savanah Kahakai finished with seven digs, moving past Teee Williams into seventh on the all-time career digs list (1,148). Iosia added her sixth double-double with 24 assists and 12 digs.
