The Hawaii soccer team suffered its most lopsided loss in 2017 on Sunday, a 4-0 loss at Gonzaga of the West Coast Conference.
UH (2-4) was blanked for the fourth straight game, the second-longest run of scoring futility in program history to a six-game stretch in 2010.
India Jencks netted two balls for the Bulldogs (4-0-1), who are off to the best start in their program history. Gonzaga outshot UH in dominant fashion, 23-6. Raisa Strom-Okimoto and Kellsie Gleason got off two shots each for the Rainbow Wahine.
UH’s three-game road trip began with a 1-0 setback at Idaho on Friday. It will attempt to salvage something at Idaho State (1-4) at noon Tuesday.
