UH soccer team routed at Gonzaga

The Hawaii soccer team suffered its most lopsided loss in 2017 today, a 4-0 shutout at Gonzaga of the West Coast Conference.

UH (2-4) was blanked for the fourth straight game, the second-longest run of scoring futility in program history to a six-game stretch in 2010.

India Jencks netted two balls for the Bulldogs (4-0-1), who are off to the best start in their program history. GU outshot UH in dominant fashion, 23-6. Raisa Strom-Okimoto and Kellsie Gleason got off two shots each for the Rainbow Wahine.

UH will attempt to salvage the three-game road trip at Idaho State (1-4) at noon Tuesday.
