Grammy Award-nominated hip-hop artists Ja Rule and Ashanti will appear at the Blaisdell Concert Hall in November.

Doors for the performance are scheduled to open at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 18. Tickets go on sale Sept. 1 on Ticketmaster (ticketmaster.com or 800-745-3000) or via promoter TMR Events at tmrevents.net. Ticket prices range from $44 to $125.

Ja Rule, a producer, songwriter and actor as well as performer originally from New York City, has had several tunes reach the Billboard Hot 100 charts, including “Between Me and You” with Christina Milian and “Ain’t It Funny” with Jennifer Lopez. He and Ashanti, who is from Long Island, have combined on several songs, including “Always on Time,” which was nominated for a Grammy, and “Mesmerize.”

Ashanti’s eponymous debut album topped both the Billboard Top 200 and R&B charts in 2002, while her single “Foolish” reached No. 1 on six Billboard charts simultaneously. She’s appeared on all the talk shows, performed before royalty and worked with Michelle Obama on the first lady’s healthy eating campaigns.
