Police arrested a 30-year-old woman after she allegedly stole merchandise over three months from a store she works at in Kapolei.
The thefts occurred from May 1 to Aug. 11. The total value of the stolen merchandise was estimated at more than $20,000.
Police arrested the woman Tuesday night on suspicion of first-degree theft.
Keeau man arrested in 2 burglaries
Hawaii island police arrested an 18-year-old Keaau man in connection with two burglaries reported within seven minutes of each other in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision.
His bail was set at $96,000 pending his initial appearance Wednesday in District Court.
Police say Benson Maddison was arrested Monday at the scene of a traffic accident on Highway 11 in Mountain View in a stolen SUV that a 39-year-old woman reported was taken along with personal items from the garage of her residence at 5:52 p.m. that same day. Earlier at 5:45 p.m., a 72-year-old man had reported tools and electronic items had been stolen from his residence and that the thief had tried to steal a pickup truck on his property.
2 visitors held in robbery of man in Waikiki
Police arrested two visitors who allegedly robbed a man in Waikiki.
At about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, police said, the suspects used physical force to take property from the victim while he was on a sidewalk.
The suspects, 21 and 23, are brothers.
Sometime after midnight Tuesday, police located the suspects at the intersection of Ala Moana Boulevard and Kahanamoku Street and arrested them on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
