Man flees after choking woman in Salt Lake, police say
Police were looking for a 57-year-old man Friday in connection with an attempted murder investigation in Salt Lake.
Police said the man threatened to kill a 58-year-old woman and then choked her until she passed out at about 9:55 p.m.
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police could not find the man, but opened a second-degree attempted murder investigation.
