Police ask for help identifying man after stolen goods sold to pawn shop

A screenshot from surveillance video shows a man wanted for questioning in connection with a case involving selling stolen items to a pawn shop on Hawaii island.

Big Island police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man in connection with a theft investigation.

On March 29, police said a man was observed accompanying another male who pawned stolen items at a pawn shop. A surveillance camera captured an image of one of the two males.

Anyone with information on the man’s identity is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or Sgt. Jenny K. Lee at 939-2520.

Tipsters also may call CrimeStoppers at 961-8300.
