Board of Water Supply said Alaneo Street is closed between North School Street and North Kuakini Street, as its crews responded to an 8-inch water main break on Alaneo Street this morning.

BWS said Lanakila Avenue is closed between Keola Street and Kunawai Lane and also between North School Street and North Kuakini Street. BWS said the streets are closed as its crews work to repair two main breaks on Lanakila Avenue.

BWS did not provide the number of customers affected by the main breaks, but said water wagons will be provided to affected customers.

North Kuakini Street is open. BWS said crews found a broken hydrant waterline in the area that is not affecting any customers. BWS said repairs to the hydrant waterline are scheduled for a later date.
