The Los Angeles Clippers will play the Toronto Raptors in exhibition games Oct. 1 and 3 at the Stan Sheriff Center as part of the Clippers Hawaii Classic, the team announced Monday.
In addition, the Clippers, who will hold training camp here, will participate in a pregame Fan Fest at the Hawaii Convention Center.
“We are very excited to be able to host the Clippers Hawaii Classic in Honolulu,” Clippers President of Business Operations Gillian Zucker said in a statement. “With the help of our partner, the Hawaii Tourism Authority, we look forward to showcasing the beauty of the islands and to bringing Clipper basketball to the people of the great state of Hawaii.”
Tickets cost $20-$150 plus fees and go on sale to the general public Friday at
9 a.m. at www.etickethawaii.com or by calling 1-808-956-4482, but the presale code DRIBBLE can be used now to buy tickets through the website.
It will mark the first time the Clippers have played here. They finished this season 51-31 and were eliminated by the Utah Jazz in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
