Roadwork across Oahu will result in a large number of lane closures on main thoroughfares this week.
Beginning tonight, the H-3 freeway in the townbound direction between the Kamehameha Highway underpass and the Likelike Highway underpass will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday morning for lighting replacements, the state Department of Transportation said.
Alternating lanes of the H-3 will close in both directions Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for maintenance work. Also, a townbound lane of the H-3 will close near the Kamehameha Highway offramp on Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for utility installations.
On the H-1 freeway, there will be roving eastbound lane closures in the vicinity of the Kamehameha Highway offramp on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for maintenance work. Roving closures on the H-1 east in the Punchbowl Street offÂramp area will happen Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
