Designer Amos Kotomori will be presenting a “Once in a Blue Moon” pop-up shop at the South Shore Market in Ward Village beginning Friday and continuing through June 18.

He will be featuring his menswear designs, as well as a new “Energy Within” collection of silk scarves, original jewelry and women’s fashion.

A Treasure Corner will showcase pieces from his work and travels through Thailand, Paris, Bali and Japan.

SHOE ART, KEIKI EVENTS MARK WORLD OCEANS DAY

Neiman Marcus will be hosting a couple of events in conjunction with World Oceans Day on Thursday.

An Olukai personalization event will showcase the footwear brand’s new Puhalu collection of canvas shoes in clay and toffee colors. Shoppers will be able to pre-order their Puhalu with custom artwork by local designers and artists Matthew and Roxanne Ortiz of Wooden Wave, who will be in store from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday. In partnership with the Honolulu Biennial Foundation, Neiman Marcus will also be hosting a keiki art workshop from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday with local painter and educator Leanna Wolff, who incorporates microplastic collected from the beach into her wave paintings. HOKULE‘A CELEBRATION TO FEATURE CREW

Bloomingdale’s will celebrate the homecoming of Hokule‘a with an exhibition of photos and cultural items telling the story of its Malama Honua voyage around the world, beginning Thursday and continuing through June 30.

Also Thursday, World Oceans Day, Hokule‘a crew members and educators will be talking story from 2 to 5 p.m. about life on board the voyaging canoe. The store will donate 10 percent of purchases designated by shoppers during the event to the Polynesian Voyaging Society. Check in at the Hokule‘a welcome desk on Level 1 for details.
