The Honolulu Fire Department, employed a 1969 American Lafrance firetruck, to transport donations from Honolulu Hale to Restaurant Row for the Hawaii Foodbank's 28th Annual Food Drive Day on Saturday. Local street artist Kamea Hadar began his mural project on Monday, his largest mural to date, using as his canvas the makai side of the 14-story Halawa View Apartments in Aiea. The artwork, a depiction of the Hawaiian goddess Hina, will feature a 65-foot tall Hina using local model Mahina Garcia as his subject. Bryson Jhung, right, helped to guide the scaffold as Hadar and Cory Taum began working.

Warren Shinsato conducts a robotics program at Windward Nazarene Academy and held the rodeo for elementary school students. Shinsato's goal is to educate students in robotics at an early age. Students from Windward area schools participated.

Aydlette, and his wife Jessica, both have competed in national games before taking a break to start a family. Hawaiian Airlines revealed Monday the cabin design for its new A321neo aircraft. Delivery of 18 new medium-haul, single-aisle planes is expected between the fourth quarter of 2017 and 2020. The A321neo will seat 189 passengers with 16 first-class, 45 extra-comfort and 128 economy-class seats. The premium cabin will feature leather recliners. The extra-comfort seats will offer five more inches of legroom. Seats in all cabins will be equipped with complimentary high-power USB outlets for device charging. Pivoting overhead bins maximize the amount of space available for carry-on luggage. The A321neo will feature wireless streaming inflight entertainment, with guests able to download an application on their personal devices before they board to access complimentary movies and TV shows.
