On March 26, 2017, at 10:19 p.m. the HFD responded to a two-alarm building fire located at 860532 Halona Rd. with ten fire companies staffed with 32 personnel. The first HFD unit arrived at 10:25 p.m. to an unoccupied single story home fully engulfed in flames. Personnel established command, secured a water supply, verified that there were no occupants in the structure, and initiated a fire attack utilizing firefighting foam. The fire was brought under control by 10:34 p.m. and all second-alarm units were canceled en route. The fire was fully extinguished at 11:15 p.m.

The fire cause and damage estimates are currently under investigation.
