Open for about a year, Palate Craft & Eatery at 1121 Bethel St. is on the market, being sold by industry veterans and partners Troy Terorotua and Pat Kashani.
The asking price was not disclosed, but according to a statement, the 1,750-square-foot former Soul de Cuba space was renovated to create Palate at a cost of $300,000 and will be sold as a turnkey operation.
Terorotua also owns and operates Real a gastropub and Brew’d craft pub, while Kashani is known for Tropics Tap House on Oahu, Tropics Ale House Waikoloa and Tropics Tap House Keauhou.
“The kind of success we are enjoying needs daily nurturing,” Terorotua said in a statement. “That’s not as easy when you have multiple bars and are approached by landlords regularly with offers to open more.”
Because neither can be on-site daily, he said, the decision was made to put Palate on the market. Broker Jo McGarry Curran of MoJo and Pacific Property Group Inc. is handling the sale.
