Rainbow Warrior 2017 football schedule announced
The University of Hawaii football team today announced its 2017 schedule in which it will travel far and high.
The Rainbow Warriors will travel 4,695 miles — the second-longest trip in the program’s history — to open the season on Aug. 26 against Massachusetts. Last year, the Warriors traveled 5,079 to play in Sydney, Australia.
The Warriors also will play Wyoming in Laramie, which is located 7,165 feet above sea level.
The schedule includes two byes, including one before an Oct. 28 home game against San Diego State, the Mountain West’s defending West Division champion.
