A Honolulu police officer investigated Tuesday at the scene where a woman fell out of a van and died.

A 29-year-old woman died Tuesday after she fell out of the passenger door of a van and hit the road.
She was taken by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services to a hospital, where she died.
The incident took place at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Pensacola and King streets.
The vehicle, driven by a 26-year-old woman, was traveling down South King Street when the incident occurred, police said.
Police closed King Street between Pensacola and Victoria streets during the investigation.
Police said this is the sixth traffic fatality in Honolulu this year, compared with four for the same period in 2016.
