Also new are two appetizers, a sandwich, a burger and three cocktails. The restaurant and gaming emporium is in the Ward Entertainment Center.
Shake it up for Ronald’s house
Buy a Shamrock Shake at McDonald’s through March 20 and the chain will donate 25 cents to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii.
The benefit marks the 30th anniversary of the 1987 opening of Hawaii’s first Ronald McDonald House, which provides housing for seriously ill children and their families.
Choose from among five flavors: cold shakes in classic mint, chocolate and chocolate chip frappe; and mocha and hot chocolate for those wanting a warm beverage.
The Shamrock Shake has a long history with the McDonald’s charity. The original Ronald McDonald House, in Philadelphia, was funded in part by a 1974 Shamrock Shake promotion.
