Man dies after collapsing on flight to Honolulu
A 79-year-old man died early Saturday morning after collapsing on a flight to Honolulu, police said.
The victim became unconscious during the flight at about 2:15 a.m. and could not be revived, police said. Someone performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation on him.
Authorities pronounced the man dead after the flight landed in Honolulu.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances and officers opened an unattended death investigation. Police did not say what flight the man was on or where the flight originated.

Local officials with the agreement by local media want to give the least info as possible to try to stifle spread of the news to the nation and the world. They figure anyone dying on a flight to Hawaii, for whatever reason is negative publicity. The guy who died trying to get past security at the Honolulu airport made national and world news.
