Hawaiian Airlines is world’s most punctual airline
Hawaiian Airlines ranked first in the world for punctuality last year with 89.9 percent of its flights arriving on time, according to a report released Wednesday by air travel intelligence company OAG.
The state’s largest carrier improved its position by moving up from ninth place in 2015.
An airline is considered “on time” if it arrives under 15 minutes of its scheduled arrival or departure time.
Panama-based Copa Airlines was second at 88.8 percent and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines of the Netherlands was third at 87.9 percent.
The OAG results cover 200 airlines.

Is there anything else good about Hawaiian Airlines?
not to my knowledge. you can fly an entire flight and never speak to an employee, except to decline a map and ask for water.
What is the big deal about Hawaiian Airlines being the most punctual in the world? After all, it flies almost exclusively to and from airports where the weather is nice most of the time.
…and then there’s the pilot situation – “fully qualified, partially paid”.
should be pretty easy to accomplish since they have a multiple flights every hour in a tropical destination–no bad weather to deal with.
I hope HA is not sacrificing safety in its race for the top prize for punctuality. I’d rather arrive alive than not arrive at all.
