Police investigating attempted robbery at illegal game room in Ala Moana area

Police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred early this morning at an illegal game room in the Ala Moana area.

The attempted robbery occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. at the game room located between Kapiolani Boulevard and Kona Street. It’s unknown at this time how many suspects were involved.

Additional details are pending as detectives continue their investigation.

    Well, at least this one didn’t end in anyone being killed. These illegal game rooms — obviously a protected industry in this town — are magnets for crime, and bad for any neighborhood

    I liked the way that undercover cop slapped some of these game room perps around a couple of years back. He got fired. The new insanity will continue….
