Anthony Bourdain serves up ‘contempt’ for Trump hotel restaurateurs
NEW YORK >> A restaurant in President-elect Donald Trump’s Washington hotel will remain “Parts Unknown” to celebrity chef and TV host Anthony Bourdain.
Bourdain tells foodie-focused website, Eater, that he will never eat in restaurateur Alessandro Borgognone’s new sushi restaurant at Trump’s hotel, adding that he has “utter and complete contempt” for Borgognone.
He also took a shot at another chef, David Burke, for taking over Jose Andres’ planned restaurant at the hotel after Andres pulled out in protest of Trump’s comments about Mexican immigrants.
The CNN host of “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown” suggested the motivation for Borgognone and Burke is to “get in good with the president” and make money.

“Parts Unknown” describes his brain.
Heroin is a hell of a drug.
Trumps remarks about Mexican illegal immigrants has been widely misreported…he said many of them (not all of them) were criminals…and that has proven to be the case. He also said illegals convicted of crimes in the U.S. should go right from jail to deportation…which is a good idea. Any Mayor who wants to defy the law and protect illegal aliens slated for deportation in their “sanctuary cities,” should be prosecuted.
And deported.
Then why doesn’t he make those comments about European immigrants as well? MANY of our country’s rapists, murderers (including serial killers), kidnappers, terrorists and thieves are white people. Why focus only on Mexican immigrants?
I won’t be watching more of Anthony’s PARTS UNKNOWN . . . . .
I’m sure he’ll be devastated by that.
The only thing good about him is his favorable comment for spam musubi!
The whining of a man who realizes his career is circling the toilet bowl, going down. No longer popular on TV, replaced by more up and coming shows.
Man would do well to go out now, retire, just go away.
Used to find Bourdain somewhat interesting when he first started appearing on TV but more recently he seems to be full of himself and straying into other areas other than food and
culture. There are so many food shows now that my interest has fallen off. I do not find his criticism of other chefs to be very relevant as it seems his criticism are totally based on
politics and their association with Trump and nothing else.
Bourdain needs to just get over it. Chalk it up as another show I’ll boycott. At the rate this is going before long I’ll only be watching Fox News on TV. No problem.
TV? Who watches broadcast anymore? Not the younger generations…I don’t even have cable or satellite. Its a big corporate joke. And the viewer is the sucker, paying good money for garbage.

That’s the spirit. Just watch and listen to those you agree with. No need to learn anything new since you already know it all.
His show is on the proper network anyway.
Wait!! Stop the presses! “The CNN host of “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown” suggested the motivation for Borgognone and Burke is to “get in good with the president” and make money.” You mean these dastardly providers of overpriced food are doing so to make money?? I find that very disturbing – NOT!!! Just plain stupid “suggestion” by Bourdain.
I am with Anthony, you guys are just angry white people who are with Putin.
