2 men face domestic assault charges in separate cases
Two men — one in Kaneohe and the other in Waianae — were arrested Wednesday for allegedly assaulting family members, in separate cases, in the presence of children under the age of 14.
The first incident occurred at 3:30 p.m. in Kaneohe when a 21-year-old man allegedly hit a 67-year-old female relative in their home in front of a child.
The woman’s property also was damaged during the argument, police said.
The man was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault on a family member.
About two hours later in Waianae, a 32-year-old man got into an argument with the 30-year-old mother of their child, who is also under the age of 14, police said.
The man allegedly threatened and assaulted the woman and restricted her breathing between 5:20 and 5:30 p.m., police said.

He was arrested for investigation of assault on a family member and terroristic threatening in the second degree and was in custody Wednesday night, police said.

The SA are PC RightWingers, what do you expect?
There are other ways to restrict someone’s breathing other than choking them. You can cover their nose and mouth, you can sit on them if you’re a heavy person, you could place a plastic bag over their head, etc.
