Protester Emma Gerrish says she thinks Trump is totally unacceptable, and this is one of her last chances to stop him. She says: “No matter what the odds are, we have to try.”

As other states’ electors cast their votes, Trump was closing in on a victory.

Hawaii’s Democratic electors are gathering at the state Capitol to cast their votes for president as part of the Electoral College.
Hillary Clinton won Hawaii, so the state’s four electors are bound by law to select her Monday. But state law doesn’t stipulate a penalty for voting differently.
Hawaii electors John Bickel, Marie “Dolly” Strazar and David Mulinix have said they’ll vote for Hillary Clinton. Elector Janice Bond hasn’t said who will receive her vote.
Republican president-elect Donald Trump won enough states to surpass the 270 electoral votes needed to become president. But Clinton received almost 3 million more popular votes.
The Associated Press interviewed electors nationwide and found little appetite for a revolt. But Trump protesters are planning rallies for Monday.

I wasn’t a Trump supporter before the election. After seeing how the Liberals reacted to Trump’s victory I’m glad he won. Now it’s very easy to see how bigoted and elitist the Liberal Democratic party is. Trump will surely be better for the country than Hillary would have been.
You don’t have to be a Trump supporter to see that Hillary would have been even worse for the country. Nearly 4.5 million voted for Gary Johnson. Hawai‘i didn’t even want Clinton. Bernie Sanders soundly defeated her in the state primary. The entire process was tainted by Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and her minions.

Just 4 years ago with Barry Hussein fresh off his second victory, conservatives were told they would have to move left and embrace the progressive agenda or never win the WH again. Instead a new type of leader emerged who unlike typical squishy republicans gave a voice to the silent majority. He sailed to the nomination and proceeded to embarrass smug and arrogant progressives by defeating Waldo. Now with each passing day progressives become more neurotic and unhinged. They refuse to look inward for a little self examination. Instead they alternately blame the Russians, FBI director Comey, racism, sexism, Wikileaks and other hare-brained excuses.

Actually, Janice Bond wanted to vote for Sanders, but she was under the impression she couldn’t; instead, it was David Mulinix. He said he cast his vote for the Vermont senator because he was the “most qualified” candidate.
