NEW YORK >> Shares of Trivago, the hotel search company that created a buzz with a rumpled TV spokesman, rose in their Wall Street debut.
Travelers use the company’s websites and apps to search for hotels around the world.
Trivago NV raised more than $287 million after it and its shareholders sold 26.1 million American depositary shares for $11 apiece. The stock is trading on the Nasdaq stock exchange under the symbol “TRVG.”
The ADS rose 85 cents to close at $11.85 Friday.
Mitsubishi recalling 50,000 SUVs
DETROIT >> Mitsubishi is recalling more than 50,000 Outlander Sport SUVs because the rear hatch lift gate can suddenly fall on people.
The company said in documents posted Friday by U.S. safety regulators that the recall covers certain SUVs from the 2011, 2012 and 2016 model years.

>> Chermane Stringfield has been selected as lead case manager for the Kumuhonua Transitional Living Center in Kalaeloa. Stringfield was previously a family advocate mentor for HCAP’s Head Start program as well as a case manager at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center.
>> Heather House is the company’s case manager for its Kumuhonua Transitional Center. House has extensive background in direct services to at-risk populations.
