A memorial service in honor of Master Sgt. Greg “Hoku” Ramos, the Hawaii Air National Guard airman who went missing in waters off Guam last month, will be held Saturday in Mililani.
Ramos, 39, of Kapolei, was born in Honolulu.
A member of the 154th
Logistics Readiness Squadron, 154th Wing, was temporarily assigned to Andersen Air Force Base on Guam supporting a KC-135R refueling tanker rotation when he was swept out to sea off Tarague Beach on Nov. 22.
A celebration of life takes place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Inspire Church Mililani. Visitation is 9 to 10:15 a.m. Casual attire and no flowers are requested.
He is survived by parents Greg and Joann Ramos, sons Jacob and Joshua Joseph Ramos, stepson Greg Whiting, daughters Jana-Rose and Alyzza-Grace Ramos, stepdaughters Kerri and Lourdes Whiting, sister Blossom Arcalas, brothers Gavin and Ikaika Ramos, and nieces and nephews.
