A 55-year-old Haleiwa man who was found unresponsive in waters near Nanakuli on Sunday has died.
He was identified as Gregory K. Severino, according to the Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office.
Police said bystanders pulled Severino out of the water at Hawaiian Electric Beach Park at about 9:30 a.m. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Suspect is arrested in armed robbery
A 34-year-old man was arrested as a suspect in a robbery in Waipahu.
Police said the suspect threatened a 25-year-old man with a handgun and took the man’s vehicle at 12:50 p.m. Nov. 21.
The suspect was arrested at 9:55 a.m. Monday and remained in custody pending further investigation.
Man falls 20 feet from Waikiki building
A man was taken in critical condition to a hospital after he fell 20 feet from an apartment building in Waikiki.
At about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, paramedics responded to a man described as 40 to 50 years old who suffered head injuries at 421 Seaside Ave. Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. David Jenkins said the man fell from the second-story roof.
