Mililani, Moanalua take cheer titles

Moanalua celebrates after it was announced that they won the 2016 Zippy’s Cheerleading State Championships in the medium division (less than 12 cheerleaders) and beating Kaiser (2nd) and Waiakea (3rd). This is Mililani celebrating (hoisting their trophy up) after it was announced that they won the 2016 Zippyճ Cheerleading State Championships in the large division (12-20 cheerleaders) by beating Balwin High. Among those celebrating were Jayna Alviar (hand over face) and Jasmine Oleos (arms raised). Kamehameha (Kapalama) finished 3rd. Moanalua won the medium division (less than 12 cheerleaders) over Kaiser (2nd) and Waiakea (3rd). The championships were held at the Neil Blaisdell Center.
