The Hawaii men’s volleyball team hosts its second of two fall exhibition matches Wednesday, taking on Team SportConX at 7 p.m. at the Stan Sheriff Center. There is no admission charge.
SportConX, a pro team comprised for former NCAA players, defeated the Rainbow Warriors in an exhibition last January. Former Hawaii players expected to play are Tony Ching, Davis Holt, Joby Ramos, Nick Castello, Cory Enriques, Ryan Leung, Brandon Heihle and Namanja Komar.
Two weeks ago, the Warriors defeated UC Irvine 3-1 in an exhibition.
Hawaii opens the 2017 season with the 23rd Outrigger Resorts Invitational, Jan. 5-7. The field includes Ball State, Princeton and Erskine.
Season tickets for a slate of 17 home matches go on sale Saturday. It is the final year the Warriors will play in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation before moving to the Big West.

Chaminade women win in volleyball
The Chaminade women’s volleyball team defeated the Academy of Art 20-25, 25-13, 25-15, 25-18 at Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco on Monday.
Daisia LaBrie led the Silverswords offense with nine kills, with Kira Long adding eight.
Chaminade improved to 16-12 overall and 10-9 in the Pacific West Conference. The Urban Knights are 7-20 and 5-13.
Chaminade plays its final match of the season against Hawaii Pacific on Friday at St. Andrew’s Priory gym.
BYUH women beat Dixie State
The BYU-Hawaii women’s volleyball team ended its road trip with a loss, falling to Dixie State 25-19, 25-19, 25-14.
Sinamoni Tonga had 12 kills and Lacy Lange added 11 for the Seasiders.
Delayne Daniel led the Trailblazers with 16 kills and helped her team improve to a 16-11 overall record and 12-7 in the PacWest. BYU-Hawaii fell to 6-21, 4-14 in conference play.
