Personal shopping service haul2hi, which specializes in bringing IKEA products to the islands, is moving from Kalihi to a 2,500-square-foot showroom at 1148 Bethel St.
Haul2hi will celebrate the grand opening of its new location Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be refreshments, entertainment and giveaways. Validated parking is available for the first 100 guests at Marks Garage.
IKEA does not have a brick-and-mortar store in the state.
“We constantly update our showroom to keep up with IKEA’s latest designs,” said Jane Murao, haul2hi’s owner. “IKEA has everything from textiles, bathroom vanities, kitchens, decorative accents, children’s furniture, dining, office, bedroom furniture and much more.”
To celebrate the move, haul2hi is giving away a bedroom set from IKEA valued at more than $1,000.
