Senior hitter Annie Mitchem put down 13 kills with no errors and No. 14 Hawaii had a season-high 14 blocks in a 25-14, 25-13, 25-18 sweep of UC Irvine in a Big West volleyball match tonight in Irvine, Calif.

Junior libero Savanah Kahakai added a match-high 16 digs for the Wahine, who put their seven-match winning streak on the line Saturday at UC Davis (13-13, 6-7). Tonight’s match lasted 104 minutes.
Sophomore opposite Harlee Kekauoha led the Anteaters (10-17, 5-8) with nine kills. Junior libero Luna Tsujimoto had 11 digs for UCI, which has lost four in a row.
Freshman setter Norene Iosia finished with a double-double (28 assists, 11 digs) as Hawaii won its sixth consecutive match in straight sets. The Wahine also have won 19 sets in a row dating back to the Oct. 14 win over UC Irvine when they dropped Set 3 in a 3-1 victory.

Seems like they’re on a roll and peaking. Don’t remember them playing this well and keeping everyone under 20.
Congrats to Coach Shoji, his staff, and all the players for the kind of play that can only be called dominating. Go Bows!
Mitchem was the missing link. Takes a lot of pressure off Taylor. Burns doing good and Mags is Mags.
To bad Annie, Mags and Burns parents live so far they can’t be in the gym watching their daughters play. Next week is Sr. night so my guess Annie’s parents will be present at the SSC.
2017 recruits looks like a great bunch . Welcome Girls.
Go Bows !!!!
One hitter had a kill percentage of .168. Guess who?
Impressive.
