Got trick-or-treat plans with the keiki this Halloween? Before letting them dig into all that candy, take it to Kalihi Kai Urgent Care to make sure it’s safe to eat.

From 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, staffers at the clinic will offer free digital X-ray imaging services for keiki Halloween candy hauls. While an adult should always inspect candy before giving it to kids, the screening will provide additional peace of mind, the company said.
