Amy Schumer attended the VH1 Big In 2015 with Entertainment Weekly Award Show in Nov. 2015, held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Calif. Schumer is brushing off critics who say her parody of Beyonce’s “Formation” video is racially insensitive.

The video features a sweaty Schumer dancing to the song alongside Goldie Hawn, Wanda Sykes and Joan Cusack. Some Twitter users are slamming the video on charges of cultural appropriation.
Beyonce’s version of the clip showed the singer sitting atop a New Orleans police car sinking in floodwaters. It also includes images of a hooded black child facing police and graffiti scrawled on a wall that reads “Stop Shooting Us.”
The YouTube clip has three times as many negative votes as positive recommendations.
Schumer responded on Instagram, thanking streaming music service Tidal for releasing what she calls a “tribute.”
Tidal is partially owned by Beyonce and her husband, Jay Z.

Who is this unknown wannabe comedian? Twice the SA has featured stories about her with trump and beyonce. Here’s a request from a subscriber….could you please focus on news?
Beyonce is junk from the bottom.

Vaccinations are founded on the work of people like Pasteur, a Frenchman.
Perhaps she should refrain from having her children vaccinated on the grounds that this would be cultural appropriation.
Or how about the use of antibiotics, founded on the work of a Scotsman, Alexander Fleming. Better not use them if you are not a Scots, or at least European.
And then there is basketball and football – both created by European Americans. Those great African American players will have to stop engaging in this cultural appropriation.
Right at the top of the list of terms that I can’t stand is “Cultural Appropriation”. Btw I don’t mind if all you folks appropriate my Northern European/Scandinavian cultural traditions like having evergreen trees in your living rooms at Christmas time. The Irish part of me though really objects to green beer on St. Patrick’s Day.
