Downed utility pole closes junction in south Kona
A downed utility pole forced the closure of the Teshima Junction in South Kona early this morning.
Hawaii County police reported that a motor vehicle accident forced the junction closure around 4:30 a.m. No serious injuries were immediately reported.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes. The duration of the road closure is unknown, but expected to be at least several hours.
