Does it have to be a sweep for critics to be satisfied?
Yes. Did you see how they lost the third set?
Can’t you answer that for yourself? Against a team who has never beaten UH, ranked somewhere down in the dumps. Are you satisfied with the team play?
No. Its just that they are not playing to the level that people expect them to play.Fans know that they can play better. The tip shots seems to be a problem for them. Taylor still getting to many of the sets i think it s just wearing her out.
On the other hand opposing teams are getting better and the best can be beat on any day. Look at what happen to UCSB got beat by Riverside. Hope CSUN can pull an upset on LBS this afternoon.
What was Granato’s kill percentage? Try .147.
Gross.
A question from Kanoa Leahey to Chris McLachlin was if it was in UH’s DNA to not be able to defend the dink shot into the open middle. Opponents often expose UH’s weakness in defending that shot. Is the recognition and anticipation too slow? Surely the coaches must recognize that. Surely Shoji can figure it out.
Memba small kid time when your dad would slow down till you can catch up in a run race.
