Trump denounces ‘lies and smears’ as more women come forward
LOS ANGELES » Two more women came forward Friday to accuse Donald Trump of unwanted sexual touching, including a former contestant from a reality show that starred the Republican presidential nominee.
The latest accounts come after several women reported in recent days that Trump groped or kissed them without their consent.
At a campaign rally in North Carolina on Friday, Trump sought to discredit his accusers. He said because there were no witnesses to the interactions, the allegations were not credible.
“Right now I am being viciously attacked with lies and smears,” Trump said at an outdoor amphitheater. “It’s a phony deal. I have no idea who these women are.”
Trump also suggested the women who have come forward to accuse him were not physically attractive enough to merit his attention. “Believe me, she would not be my first choice, that I can tell you,” he said when speaking of one of the women.
Summer Zervos, a former contestant on “The Apprentice,” said Trump made unwanted sexual advances toward her at a Beverly Hills hotel in 2007, while photographer Kristin Anderson alleged Trump sexually assaulted her in a New York nightclub in the early 1990s.

Zervos, 41, appeared at a news conference Friday with Gloria Allred, a well-known Los Angeles attorney. Zervos was a contestant on “The Apprentice” in 2006 and said she later contacted Trump to inquire about a job with one of his businesses.
Zervos said she had an initial meeting with Trump, where he discussed a potential job with her. When they parted, he kissed her on the lips and asked for her phone number, she said.
She said weeks later Trump called to invite her to meet him at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she said she was expecting to have dinner with the New York billionaire. Instead, she described a series of unwanted kisses and touching by Trump, which she said she repeatedly rejected.
“He tried to kiss me again … and I said, ‘Dude, you’re tripping right now,’ attempting to make it clear I was not interested,” she said.
Zervos said Trump eventually stopped and began talking as if they were in a job interview. She said she was later offered a low-paying job at a Trump-owned golf course.
At the time, Trump had recently married his third and current wife, Melania Trump, and the couple had an infant son.
Zervos said she is a Republican and has no political agenda in coming forward. Allred said her client told her parents and others about the incident shortly after it occurred.
In a statement released by his campaign, Trump denied he was ever alone in a hotel room with Zervos and claimed to have only a vague recollection of meeting her. He lashed out at the media for creating “a theater of absurdity that threatens to tear our democratic process apart and poison the minds of the American public.”
Late Friday, the Trump campaign released a statement in which a cousin of Servos said he was “shocked and bewildered” by her account.
John Barry of Mission Viejo, California, said in the statement that Zervos “wishes she could still be on reality TV, and in an effort to get that back she’s saying all of these negative things about Mr. Trump.”
In a story published online Friday, Anderson told The Washington Post that she was sitting on a couch with friends at a New York nightclub in the early 1990s when someone’s hand reached up her skirt and touched her through her underwear.
Anderson, then in her early 20s, said she pushed the hand away, turned around and recognized Trump as the man who had groped her. Then recently divorced, Trump was then a frequent presence in the New York tabloids, and he was regular presence on the Manhattan club scene.
“He was so distinctive looking — with the hair and the eyebrows. I mean, nobody else has those eyebrows,” Anderson, 46, told the newspaper. She said the assault was random and occurred with “zero conversation.”
Anderson did not respond to a phone message from The Associated Press. She told the newspaper said she does not back Trump or Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee.
The Post said it contacted Anderson after a friend she had told about the incident recounted it to a reporter. Other friends also told the Post that Anderson recounted the same story to them years ago.
Zervos’ and Anderson’s decisions to speak publicly about her experience follows last week’s disclosure by the Post of a 2005 video in which Trump boasted that his celebrity gave him the ability to grab women “by the p——. You can do anything.” Trump apologized for those remarks, but also dismissed them as “locker-room talk.”
Also Friday, Melinda McGillivray, 36, of Palm Springs, Florida, told the AP that Trump’s denial in last Sunday’s presidential debate that he had ever groped women prompted her to come forward after years of brushing off an incident from 2003.
She told The Palm Beach Post for a story published on Thursday that while she was backstage at a concert at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, when he grabbed her buttocks.
“I wanted to do this so I can be a role model for my daughter,” McGillivray said. “I wanted to be that courageous woman that she sees every day, but in that moment she saw vulnerability and she saw a scared little girl.”

I wonder what Melania thinks about all of these allegations. I really feel bad for her.
Isn’t it abso friggin lutely fascinatin’ how ever four years EVERY Republican candidate is found guilty of alleged but not proved sexual misconduct by our so called ‘news’ media, while no Democrat however degenerate or predatory (e.g. Teddy, Billy, JFK, &c.), is ever taken to task for what they have ACTUALLY done to women.
The deal is the Dems can concoct some lie at just the right moment ~~ so that the lie is not exposed until AFTER the election ~~ with complete confidence that [1] the drive by media will pick it up and give it heavy, continuous play and [2] the weenie GOP will run for cover apologizing all the way.
Remember Donna Brazil asking George H.W. Bush to “C’mon fess up” to the lie that he had a mistress just weeks before the election of 1988.
This happens with the regularity of a metronome and the Gutless Obsequious Pantywaists who are the GOP movers and shakers ~~ very much like Charlie Brown charging toward Lucy holding the football for a place kick ~~ fall for it EVERY time.
While GOP heavy weight/opinion leaders ALWAYS take the counsel of their fears (and so often get their clocks cleaned by the Dems as a result), Don Trump embodies the motto of the Brits’ famed Special Air Service (“WHO DARES, WINS”) and is for that reason LOATHED by said heavy weight/opinion leaders.
Verdict on the Republican establishment: all hat and no cattle.
IRT Thos, and now we have five of the women, who claimed were groped by Mr. Trump, have witnesses that what they claim never happened. Let’s now wait and see what is the fall out for Ms Hillary, Democrats, and the mainstream Media.
In other news, the Trump Campaign raised over $100 million for September and over 2.5 million donors. This race for the White House is far from over as many who were not supporters are joining the Trump movement. It’s high energy in the Trump Campaign.
You’re making up that there are witnesses who can disprove what these women are saying. More lies.
Mr. Trump and his companies have been sued over and over again for sexual harassment. If he actually files against The Times, the paper will be allowed access to sealed judgments against him and his companies.
Lawyers all over the country are anxious for an opportunity to humiliate Mr. Trump in court by representing his victims. Bring it on.
There is no lie to expose. The problem with your ridiculous argument is that Mr. Trump admitted his sexual predation in his own voice. You are pretending that he didn’t admit to criminal sexual assault. He did.
Anymore doubt, TS (Trump sycophants )????
I have no doubt these women were sycophants hoping to get an “in” job and rub elbows with Trumpo which is why they never said anything all these years.
saveparadise, for the sake of the women in your life, I want to assure you there are many many reasons why women (and men) never come forward to report a rape. I’ve known both women and men who have been raped, and none of them ever reported it. In fact, the last case I heard of was a friend’s daughter. She was away at college and was raped by the son of another family friend. She only told her mother on condition that she do nothing about it. The daughter herself wasn’t going to report it either. She said she didn’t want to go thru what rape victims go thru when they report a rape. The tendency is to not believe them. Whereas if you report being mugged, most people believe you.
This whole election is a fiasco! Donald Trump should never have been allowed to run on the Republican ticket (or any ticket for that matter). He has a shameful history of predatory sexual behavior–this is evidenced by his comments about grabbing at women’s genitals, forcing unwanted advances on them, making inappropriate comments about the dating potential of 10 year-old girls, and on and on. The women who have “outed themselves” bring stories to the public arena that are completely in keeping with Trump’s own admissions. Even Trump’s tirades purporting his “innocence” reflect the behavior of a sexual predator when he makes statements that he would not be interested in any of the women and invites folk to “check them out”–suggesting that they are not attractive enough for him to HIT ON! C’mon America…., wake up! It is time you stepped out of your “reality show mindset” and demanded a president who is truly able to make America great again. And, let me state, I am not enamored of Clinton either!! How about we all sign a petition to postpone this election until we are able to find some morally up-standing candidates. I am absolutely sick of the horror show that this election has become!
ikw, you know where you can go don’t you?
?
Not surprising. Most of us thought that Trump was that type of person, even before he ran for president. Most of these videos and allegations only confirm what we thought of the guy.
Liars? How can so many “liars” be willing to stand up and make public, his groping them? Are all these women liars?
Publicity. Hope they get sued. 9 years ago? One was more than 35 years ago.
The wenches are running wild. Where’s that other 95 year old lady? Maybe that’s the headline for tomorrow.
Wenches, huh?? Was your granny involved?
Is this all staged by the Cilton camp? Or DNC?
They said the same stuff about the Bill Cosby accusers.
Bill Cosby is being charged, why not Bill Clinton? Where is BLM. I guess only Monica took a knee.
If it happened to you, you wouldn’t think it was so funny. If Donald J Trump did that to you…ooh.
Never mind, I think you’d like that, wouldn’t you…
Ike, was your granny involved?
Les, if my deceased Tutu were involved, someone would be leaving with a black eye and broken jaw. She was not a woman to mess with, nor would she have ever let this type of tomfoolery go…..she worked 52 years, all in the fields for Dole. She would have took you in like 4 seconds….
Have you ever been raped Kira? How would you feel if nobody believed you? And after that what if more news came out about your rapist raping more women? Wouldn’t you want to come forward to tell your story? The same thing happened with Cosby, how many more women do you want to come forward before you actually believe that there is some truth to these stories about Trump? Were the women in the Cosby case doing it for publicity? Some of them maybe but not all of them.
As for getting sued, Trump already said that he wanted to sue the NYTimes and the Times said for Trump to bring it. I doubt it will go anywhere because then more dirt on Trump will come out and they will be required to release all info on the apprentice that will show what a pig Trump really is.
To Ikefromeli: I’m not sure if his granny was involved, but I do believe your daughter and aunt was.
HAj, the trouble wth being a supporter of misogynistic person, is that it exposes all your own liabilities and bias. For instance, by way of specific example, I know you would never tell me that to my face or even get within a 100 yards of me because you are a passive aggressive coward who feels confident about spouting of their pie hole on the internet, but is basically useless in life.
And Bill gets away with the same thing and nothing becomes of it.
Again my comment is waiting moderation, I can only guess it is because I do not buy into the Clinton BS or lean in the direction of the main stream media.
Beach, Bill isn’t running for president. And all of the transgressions were reported by the main stream media at the time.
You said, “Bill gets away with the same thing,” I take that to mean you are okay with what Donald did?
OMG Ikie boy you are so sensitive. Can dish it out but can’t take it. Typical highly educated lily. Good evening.
I’d guess HAJ is a racist as well. Not all Trump fans are racists, just the ignorant, undereducated ones.
sarge22 – The poorly educated, and failures, always mock folks with advanced degrees and professional licenses. Because we all know the downsides of a great education – like success; money; successful marriages; successful, happy kids, and such. Awful.
klas..think you got that bass ackwards. Look at all the comments and notice the so called highly educated are doing the name calling. Never said there was anything wrong with education. Doing fine with success, money, successful marriages, successful, happy kids, grandkids and such.
Yeah. . . so Hillary’s the one who’s a “victim attacker” hunh?

All you “I am holy and better than thee” mouths please tell us how you get sex. You talk, you kiss, you feel her up, and if things go well you get laid. If not then you move on or keep trying. Do you beg for it? So what? This happens every day and every night everywhere in the world. Uncle Bill got lucky with Monica in the Oval Office and maybe with many others, so what? How do you think your own mother and father hooked up? Sex is a part of life. Are you all Bible pushers that want celibacy? Hellary is no virgin, so what? The media circus flourishes….
Mr. Trump bragged about criminal (felony) sexual assault. He did these things without consent and by force. The operative phrase is “without consent.”
That may be normal in your mind – it sounds like you act similarly to Mr. Trump – but thankfully, you’re in a very small minority.
Kl-asstray the fake lawyer, Did I mention Trump in my post? A real lawyer reads and thinks before opening his big mouth. I’ll ask you directly then. How do you kl-asstray achieve getting sex? Any woman that has been approached for sex can claim sexual assault. No way to prove what actually takes place in private. You should know that even if you are a fake lawyer. Are you still obsessed with me? Don’t touch me I’ll file attempted rape charges:)
Sad no one whats to do it with him. So he writes s… everyday and anyway. He is no lawyer just a dog catch.
“Achieve getting sex?” Are you writing this from prison?
Do you not understand what consent is? There’s something terribly wrong with you.
“You talk, you kiss, you feel her up, and if things go well you get laid.”
Is that your technique? Well….
A member of Donald Trump’s evangelical council wrote . . . “Trump’s comments released yesterday — though 10 years ago (he was 60) — are not just sophomoric or locker room banter. They are truly the kind of misogynistic trash that reveals a man to be lecherous and worthless — not the guy who gets politely ignored, but the guy who gets a punch in the head from worthy men who hear him talk that way about women.”
This is the key line in your comment: “if things go well you get laid. If not then you move on or keep trying.” The point is that these women claim that Trump didn’t “move on” but pushed his advantage. And that’s wrong.
Sex is a part of life, but not sexual assault.
Your tag should be sexnut.
Wow, so mature!
saveparadise, it is always amusing to see how your illogical mind works. LOL, your favorite union card-carrying pensioned State employee.
Only fools believe this rubbish. Why only now do you come out? And with an attorney no less? And why would any woman meet a man at a hotel? She wasn’t angling for something for herself when she made that decision? Go away and find a job…. or a life.
Why did young boys abused in the Catholic Church not come out til 20-30 years later?? Well, a variety of factors: shame, societal timing, power structure and availiablity of access and process within the judiciary.
I know when you are operating with just a high school education, without too much life experience, it’s hard to form an objective perspective. That said, it’s best to exercise with an economy of words, when the veneer to your limited cognitive ability and rather atrocious views on women are so thinly veiled.
“An economy of words?” You’re the poster child for needlessly wordy, redundant, rambling, nonsensical and grammatically chaotic posts.
As much of a tragedy that the abuse of boys by catholic priests was, the part conspicuously absent from the story is that by definition, the abusers were practitioners of homosexuality. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Entirely wrong. Emperical research has shown exactly what you are suggesting:
By way of specific example…The website Mumsnet found that 10 per cent of women had been raped, and 35 per cent sexually assaulted.
Almost of a quarter of victims had been attacked repeatedly, and two-thirds knew the person responsible.
But most of those who had been raped or sexually assaulted (83 per cent) failed to report it to police, and 29 per cent did not even tell friends or family what had happened.
Overall about half said they would be too embarrassed or ashamed of the incident to admit it but two-thirds said they would hesitate because of low conviction rates.
More than half of the 1,609 female respondents to the survey said the legal system, the media and society at large is unsympathetic to rape victims.
You might be better off attempting to embellish your college degrees and careers…..
You got one thing right my smarter than thou friend. The legal system, the media and society at large IS unsympathetic to rape victims…especially when Bill Clinton is the offender and Hillary Clinton is the enabler.
Of course that is wholly dependent on what the definition of the word “is” is.
That’s why Jr. was caught “In a 2013 radio interview on the “The Opie and Anthony Show” surfaced by Buzzfeed News on Thursday, Donald Trump Jr. complains about women making charges of sexual harassment in the workplace, suggesting that women who have a trouble with men making certain comments should go teach kindergarten.” Because that’s what Daddy taught him.
And Daddy gave him his first box of TicTacs. It was one of those touching father and son moments…
Duh he brags about grabbing women’s pus-y. It’s his actual words nobody made it up.
Trump thinks that he is Royalty and everyone else are peasants. That’s why he talked that way about how he treats women, and that’s why he is insulted when they say he groped them. “How dare these peasants talk back to me.”
How do the Clintons view themselves and everyone else? How did/do the Clintons treat the women that Bill assaulted?
CEI, what are your thoughts on Pac’s comments about Trump…not the Clintons, but Trump?
What are your thoughts on my questions about the Clintons…not Trump, but the Clintons?
Why won’t you answer? But, to answer your questions: they like most people in positions of power probably do feel like the are better than most commoners such as myself. And maybe they are, they certainly have had more impact, and made more money than I have. I am unimpressed with the way Bill treated or treats women, again assuming those allegations were true as well. But, Bill isn’t running for President. And while her loyalty might be misguided, Hillary isn’t the one assaulting people, and Donald is.
this stuff about both sides is getting boring fast.
She told her parents about it 9 years ago and only now it becomes news this is starting to get a little ridiculous. If my child came to me with these same allegations it would definitely be today’s news not 9 years later maybe the parents didn’t even believe her any way it is plain to see what Clinton and the press are trying to do (divert the attention away from Clintons corruption). These are just simple cases of he said she said no witnesses just a bunch of hearsay. I just cant wait to see how much Clinton has paid these poor woman to come forward after all these years, that will be real news. I wonder why there are no woman from recent months and years coming forward and where are all the abused woman that work for him.
Blame the victim…I’m sure your children would be proud.
I’m sure glad the Clintons never blamed any of Bill’s victims, or referred to them as trailer park trash, or bimbo’s. I’m sure Chelsea is proud (as long as she gets a $900,000 salary for doing nothing).
@CEI, it was Betsey Wright, who worked for B Clinton who called the women “bimbos.” And James Carville who made the trailer park reference (not trailer trash). The Clintons haven’t used those words.
CEI – You are lying. PoiDoggy is correct.
C’mon Poi you’re smarter than that, I know you are. Mrs. Clinton as quoted in the Atlantic referred to Gennifer Flowers as “trailer trash”
Corrected. But it wasn’t the Atlantic. They referenced an article in Slate. Which referenced Carl Bernstein’s H Clinton bio, which says the term was used. Whew!
Ari Fleischer, Press Secretary for George W. Bush, said today that Trumps path to victory is at this point exorbitantly small.
What this entire Romanesque debacle of Trump’s ridiculous ego-filled, clown car, attempt to get to the White House really exhibits: is that what you do in a primary is entirely different for a general election.
A couple of takeaways: the demographics of America have exposed a major liability for the Republicans–they just don’t have a sufficient amount of voters to win a national election; the Republican Party is at a seminal point on how they can successfully go forward –either actually become more inclusive of people of color or go the way of the whigs, and become totally irrelevant; and Trump magnifies an underbelly of the US–racism, the promotion of being undereducated and underemployed, while being sexist, unread and pugilistic.
Are you poking fun at Trump’s whig?
Utilize your fictional PhD, and look it up…..
Thumb’s up, Donald? That’s quite a photo juxtaposition.
Gloria allred is the most prejudice liberal mental disorder lawyer who hates men because no one can stand her, she will try to make this person a good liar which they are. trump should just ignore all this propaganda and stick with the issues on getting this economy going, Hillary has nothing to run on that’s why she brings up all this tabloid stuff.
Ms. Allred wins her cases because she has a firm command of the law.
You, on the other hand, know absolutely nothing. Zero.
Their not talking about the issues anymore, its more about Trump and all the women and Hillary and her emails. Its getting better as the days go by, it beats out the daytime shows.
What a pathetic rationalization. If Chump grabbed your sister or daughter by the “pu##y” and you’re ok with it because he’s powerful and a “celebrity” it says as much about you as it does Chump.

presidential forecasts show declines in Trump’s chances of winning over the last week. When The Huffington Post’s presidential forecast model debuted on Oct. 3, Clinton had an 84 percent chance of winning, leaving Trump only a 16 percent chance of becoming president. Now, 11 days later, Trump’s chances are in the single digits. Clinton has a 91 percent chance of winning. The model gives her 341 electoral votes to Trump’s 197.
Trump’s lower chances in the forecast stem from small shifts in polls across several states. Despite the poll changes in Utah, it’s still classified as a likely Trump win. Other states have seen small ― but important ― shifts toward Clinton. Michigan and Wisconsin are now over 90 percent likely to go to Clinton, which gives her 273 electoral votes just among states that she is 90 percent or more likely to win.
Florida has gotten a bit bluer and has an 89 percent chance of going to Clinton. Ohio, North Carolina and Nevada have made small changes to now lean in the Democratic direction. Ohio and Nevada were leaning toward Trump last week.
These movements are small, but make no mistake ― Trump is in big trouble. No candidate has ever come back from a polling deficit this large to win the election. The 91 percent probability of a Clinton win 25 days out are as high as forecast probabilities were of Barack Obama winning the day before the election in 2012.
These numbers could ― and probably will ― change between now and Election Day.
It’s possible that Trump’s numbers won’t fall any further and might even increase slightly simply because he’s already this far down. Trump’s ardent supporters are happy to accept his explanation of the tape as “locker room” talk and “just words” in order to vote for the party line. If the controversy quiets down, some less strident supporters might come back as we’ve seen happen after previous Trump scandals.
But the numbers aren’t likely to come back up much. For one thing, the Trump campaign isn’t showing any signs of trying to repair the damage. They seem to be in complete denial that they’re losing this race, falling back on the adage that “the only poll that matters is the one on Election Day.”
Bye-bye, aloha no e hui hou…..
So Donald, now that all these women are coming forward because of your “locker room talk” about kissing women and putting your small hands up their p___y because you’re a superstar (NOT), you’re calling them liars? When you open your mouth, you only make things worse for yourself.
The only way to make the Chump politically correct is to circumcise his tongue.
Guess what Trump you gave the Clinton’s camp another idea. They will now find witnesses to these allegations made by these women.
watched CNN interview of Zervos where the crooked lawyer Allred typed a four or five page letter for Zervos to read, Allred added a lot of B.S. stuff in there that she added in, I don’t think Zervos knows what she is talking about she is probably lying, it was all crooked Allred who made up those words for her to say, a typical crooked lawyer making things up. I guess that’s what lawyers like Allred does, liberal lawyers with mental disorders.
Just more allegations. That’s how the Democrats roll. No due process. Guilty.
If Crooked Clinton wins America will be decimated. Hawaii has to vote For Trump. I don’t know about his Fed taxes but he pays Hawaii Taxes.
lespark, I enjoy reading these awful comments on Trump. You must know that Hawaii will NEVER use its electoral votes to elect the Donald. In your words, “That’s how the Democrats roll.” I totally agree with keaukaha; he is one sick pucker.
BTW, I’m not voting for Trump. That doesn’t mean I’ll vote for Hillary. LOL, ya can’t play the HilLIARy card on me.
The desperation on the Clinton side is exposed as they try to pull out all the stops to prevent Trump from winning.
In an April 14 [2016] email, Zervos wrote to Trump’s executive assistant Rhona Graff.
“I am in a unique situation being that I am the only former Apprentice who operates a business where Mr. Trump’s supporters can walk in, express their admiration for him and inquire about my experience. Mr. Trump has a great deal of support in Huntington Beach, Ca!”
“We hire a diverse crew and embrace anyone who is honest while working hard. Mr. Trump is cut from the same cloth. I would greatly appreciate reconnecting at this time. He will know my intentions are genuine,” Zervos said.
If Trump assaulted her as she alleges, how could she write such an email? Ms. Zervos apparently has some explaining to do and I look forward to hearing it.

It’s over for Mr. Trump. His poll numbers have collapsed completely, and he’s too unpopular to recover.
He’s going to lose in a fantastic landslide that will humiliate him. His loss cannot be too embarrassing.
Good riddance to him. He’s a psychotic. Have fun living in the delusion that he can win. He can’t.
