Man who died while hiking Tantalus trail is identified
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office identified today a 37-year-old man who died Sunday while hiking a Tantalus trail as Aldrich Visitacion, of Kapolei.
Visitacion died of artherosclerotic coronary disease with thrombosis, or a hardening of the arteries with a blood clot, the office said.
Visitacion collapsed while hiking Pu‘u Ohio Trail at about 4:40 p.m. Sunday. Police said Emergency Medical Services personnel responded, but could not revive Visitacion. There were no signs of foul play.

At least the poor man died in a beautiful place, and one he apparently loved.
Condolences to Family and Friends. As a precaution to many, if there are signs that you may have an issue with your circulatory system get yourself checked out. It may be an isolated incident (i.e. atrial fibrillation) or it could be a sign of a more significant problem that can be treated. If not left untreated you could develop coronary disease with unpleasant consequences (stroke).
agree…
You can live a long life even though you have A-fib, but you have to have the right care and medications to keep you from having a stroke. My condolence to his family. He was doing his thing in a beautiful place, God Bless.
Yes, it does remind me of Ohio up there.
