Man charged for allegedly burglarizing Kaimuki house
A 35-year-old Honolulu man who was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly burglarizing a Kaimuki house was charged today with second-degree unauthorized entry into a dwelling and first-degree criminal property damage.
Police said Carlos Chang of an Alexander Street address was initially arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary, abuse of a family member and first-degree criminal property damage.
Chang allegedly entered the 32-year-old man’s home while the victim was inside. The victim called police and Chang was found and arrested nearby.
Chang’s bail was set at $20,000.
