>> The phone number for Hawaii Literacy is 537-6706, and the group will hold two five-hour training sessions to teach volunteers how to tutor adults to read from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 17 and 24 at Island Pacific Academy, 909 Haumea St., Kapolei. A Page D3 brief Tuesday had an incorrect phone number and misstated the duration of the sessions.
>> Foi Sila was one of the Farrington defenders who tackled Leilehua quarterback Kaleo Aloha Piceno, forcing a fumble during Monday’s game at Aloha Stadium. He was misidentified as Tyrese Futialo in a photo caption on Page C5 in the late editions of Tuesday’s paper.
