Clarification: DeBartolo Development said Wednesday that more than half of the Ka Makana Alii shopping center will be open Oct. 21. Previously the company had confirmed the Oct. 21 opening of only a few of the planned 100 stores, which was reported in an earlier version of this story and in the Wednesday print edition.
