He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Ward was serving time for second-degree theft and bail jumping.
He faces an additional escape charge when found. His next parole hearing was scheduled for November.
Water advisory issued on Maui
Heavy rain and runoff have prompted the state to issue a brown- water advisory for Honokahua Bay in West Maui.
The public is advised to stay out of floodwaters and stormwater runoff due to possible overflowing cesspools and sewers, as well as pesticides, animal fecal matter, dead animals, pathogens, chemicals and associated flood debris.
Dead animals can also attract sharks.
