Eran Ganot, coach of the University of Hawaii men’s basketball team, will be the guest speaker at Monday’s Honolulu Quarterback Club luncheon at the Maple Garden Restaurant.
Ganot led the Rainbow Warriors to 28 wins last season, the most in UH history, as Hawaii made the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time in program history. Ganot is the reigning Big West Coach of the Year, and was also named by CollegeInsider.com as the top first-year coach in the country. His 28-6 record was the most successful inaugural season in Big West history. He will talk about the new players on the team, as well as the upcoming season.
The general public is invited to attend. The cost is $16 per person. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m., with the program starting at noon.
