Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort resigns
WASHINGTON >> Donald Trump’s campaign chairman Paul Manafort resigned today in the wake of campaign shake-up and revelations about his work in Ukraine.
In a statement issued as he arrived in Louisiana to tour the flood-ravaged state, Trump said Manafort offered his resignation this morning. The billionaire called Manafort “a true professional.”
“I am very appreciative for his great work in helping to get us where we are today, and in particular his work guiding us through the delegate and convention process,” Trump said.
Manafort’s resignation comes a day after The Associated Press reported that confidential emails from Manafort’s firm contradicted his claims that he had never lobbied on behalf of Ukrainian political figures in the U.S.
Trump’s son, Eric Trump, told Fox News in an interview that will air Sunday that his father worried questions about Manafort’s past were taking attention away from the billionaire’s presidential bid.
“I think my father didn’t want to be, you know, distracted by whatever things Paul was dealing with,” Eric Trump said.

Emails between Manafort’s deputy, Rick Gates, also a top Trump adviser, and the lobbying firm Mercury LLC showed that Manafort’s firm, DMP International LLC, directly orchestrated a covert Washington lobbying operation on behalf of Ukraine’s then-ruling political party.
The effort included not just legislative outreach but also attempts to sway American public opinion and gather political intelligence on competing lobbying efforts in the U.S.
The emails obtained by the AP do not describe details about the role of Manafort, Gates’ boss at the firm. But current and former employees at Mercury and a second lobbying firm, the Podesta Group, some of whom spoke on condition of anonymity because they are subject to non-disclosure agreements, told the AP that Manafort oversaw the lobbying efforts and spoke by phone about them.
Manafort and Gates never registered as foreign agents for their work as required under federal law.
Under the U.S. Foreign Agents Registration Act, people who lobby on behalf of foreign political figures or political parties must provide detailed reports about their actions to the Justice Department’s counterespionage unit. A violation is a felony and can result in up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
Also Friday, Ukrainian anti-corruption investigators released copies of handwritten ledgers detailing possible cash payments from Ukrainian political figures to Manafort totaling more than $12 million. Details of the payments described in the ledger were first reported by The New York Times. Manafort denies receiving those payments.
Earlier this week, Trump brought in a new campaign chief executive and campaign manager following a disastrous stretch in which the New Yorker committed a series of errors and fell behind Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in both national and battleground state preference polls.
The new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, had described Manafort and Gates as part of a new “core four” atop the Trump operation with her and CEO Stephen Bannon. But Manafort’s role in the campaign had been significantly marginalized under the new leadership structure announced Wednesday.
Neither Manafort nor Gates were taking a paycheck from the Trump campaign as of June 30, according to campaign finance reports filed with federal regulators. Manafort had said on several occasions he didn’t plan to be paid for his work for Trump.

come on you 2 sleeze bags for the AP.tell how hillarys campaign manager john podesta and his brother tom podesta own podesta group inc. and mercuryLLC. and also did the same thing as manafort for the Hillary campaign. you guys can’t tell the truth because you are afraid of the trumpster.
The everybody does it excuse from Republican’s is a daily thing. Only the uninformed fall for this. Not every presidential candidate has ties to Russia like Trump appears to have. Donald Trump could clear up a lot of those questions by releasing his tax returns for the past thirty five years as Hillary Clinton has done. What is Trump hiding?
Hillary?
Do you REALLY want to go there?
Better check this out first:
http://blackburn.house.gov/uploadedfiles/clinton_foundation_final.pdf
Again, so are you saying Donald and crew are ok doing this?
hiLIARy’s HEALTH issues are more important..she should release her records.
Hillary Clinton has released her medical records. Donald Trump released a medical report he wrote himself. Trump is a sad joke.
Rite is wrong. Hillary has not released her medical records. What she released was a letter from her doctor in July 2015 saying she is healthy, has seasonal allergies and an underactive thyroid gland, a common condition, especially among people over 60. Her actual medical records may not be released until Obama releases his academic records, which have been sealed under court order.
And Trump wrote his own medical record. Doctor doesn’t exists but he’s in fabulous health, the best I’ve ever seen in my opinion. Give me a break.
“The everybody does it excuse from Republican’s is a daily thing”
This is a pretty common piece of bad reasoning, but my impression is that it has been the Democrats that specialized in it.
Hillary tried with other Secretaries of State did it, etc.
President Obama was also pretty good with it such as rationalizing the brutality of ISIS using references to the Christian crusades, etc.
I don’t recall Donald ever doing it.
the only ties to Russia that trump said was that if he is elected president we could join up with Russia to take out Isis, because Russia hates them to. but the Satan in office and the disciple of Satan who is running for president do not want to take out Isis. they rather bring the Syrian refugees into the U.S. where Isis has some young men in with the Syrian refugees. if you people can’t see that, there is something wrong with you.
Are you with Fox and Friends?
And ain’t it abso- f r I g g I n -lutely FASCINATIN’ to recall how George W. Bush was raked over the coals by blacks for deliberately vectoring Katrina into a direct hit on New Orleans when he had AF1 flew over the area for a look see in preparation for marshaling emergency rescue resources – – and this of course long AFTER he had warned the idiot NOLA mayor (Democrat) and the idiot state governor (Democrat) to take precautions well ahead of time and was contemptuously told by both of them to take a hike.
And now, when most of the state is underwater and desperate, the clueless, cold blooded clodhopper now “in charge” cannot be bothered to come off the golf course at Martha’s Vineyard. And not a peep of complaint by our so called ‘news’ media.
amela I am not with fox and friends I do not watch abc, nbc, cbs msnbc cnn and fox who is now 80% liberal ever since last year when Mueller bought fox out and gave it to his sons to run who are in favor of Hillary Clinton. I get my info from around the country and writers in most of newspapers and I see whats happening to this country that Obama destroyed, and Hillary will follow in his footsteps if she becomes president I see history repeating itself when hitler ran Germany. I don’t need to be brainwashed by the news media just look around and you can see what’s happening to this country of being destroyed by this deceiver in the white house and Hillary to follow.
amela here is an interesting article that I read in feburary by Bill Bennet a very good writer where he explains why some democrats and republican want to kill Donald Trump so he does not become president, because all there gravy train that they stole from the American taxpayers is coming to halt. because Trump will have them prosecuted.
heres another one amela that the news won’t report did you know in London that women got 6 months in prison for speaking out againt radical islam because some muslim guy who brought charges against her thought that statement was life threating. did you also know that 225 thousand twitter accounts were shut down by the owner of twitter because they also taked about radical islam and also did you know the last day of ramadon that Obama hosted a lot of IMams for dinner in the white house. read between the lines and you can see what’s happening to this country, that we once called America. Donald can save America.
here’s another one I make comments on these article but I don’t have no college degree I only graduated from high with a c average, I am computer illiterate I don’t use any I phones or all this other computer equipment’s I just use a trac phone but what I have going is common sense that this has lacked for last twenty years in America that I love and it makes me sad to see this country going down the tubes with this deceiver in the white house and this Hillary who wants to be president if she gets in, say goodbye to the 1-9 ammendments she will take them away. few moths ago I watched Donald trump and see he has flaws but he has common sense like a lot of American he dealt with contractors, cement people while building his towers he talks to people building his buildings, that’s why I will vote for him, oh there be commenters who say I am full of it or a liar but that fine with me because I have one thing going for me common sense. also go to the article where it say’s trump shakes up his staff and read my comment on the bottom. nothing more to say, but GOD BLESS AMERICA.
“I love the poorly educated!’ Go Trump!
He must be the Chumps valedictorian.
AP?? Every major publication has reported this article, including the National Review, American Spectator, Wall Street Journal….etc Better to be silent, then reconfirm a lack of education or cognitive thinking ability.
Manafort is a sleazy backroom operator and Trump’s judgement has to be questioned in bringing him into his bad campaign. Trump lacks the ethics and character to be president of anything.
Why is hiLIARy resting? What health issue(s) is she hiding?
Hillary looks just fine and Trump’s lies will not stop her. Hillary is flawed, like all of us, but she has the brains to be a good president. Trump needs to step down and his jokes are as tiresome as his lack of policy details and his huge giveaway tax cuts for the super rich.
you must mean podesta and Hillary which is fine
crooks will hire crooks, trumpy hired another one, bannon and conner is just as bad, like trump, she lies constantly.
According to America’s Freedom Fighters, the documents reveal that Obama received financial aid as a student from Indonesia under the name of Barry Soetoro.
Obama applied for financial aid and was awarded with a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. In order to qualify for this scholarship, students must first claim foreign citizenship.
If true these revelations would explain Obama’s ambivalence towards America,
If true? And if Grandma had ba$$ she would be grandad
Grandtranny?
So, are you saying this is ok for Trump and crew?
Well this article is about Donald’s ex campaign manager. Hillary’s a different story.
You are Right Boots! Hillary’s a WAAAAAAAAY different Story.
Good one 64hoo! The CIA will report this in the next fews days. But they are Scared!
Hillary has “Parkinsons’ Disease. Epileptic Attacks, Balance issues ,Neurological Problems…this is just a few.
What about the resignation?
Correct 64hoo!
Timber, landslide, sinking ship, internal combustion, nuclear explosion! Even a loser, cheat knows when to get out so when is Trump abandoning ship? What a joke and to all his joker supporters, get educated.
How does a job Manafort had in 2012 have anything to do with Trump? Are they implying he held the 12.7 million for 4 years until Trump decided to run for president, then gave it to him on behalf of Putin when he was hired by Trump?
What’s the point of this story?
Typ SA Lib Spin
Try reality. Trump told Manafort to resign (read son Eric’s comments).
There’s no spin in the facts of what happened between Trump, Manafort, and the Russians. Stop blaming the news media, Hillary’s health, Obamacare, global warming, illegal immigrants, Trump U students, etc.
Trump completely failed to vet his campaign manager, the child rapist sitting behind him, and his new advisor who was splashed all over all media for sexual harassment. That’s the reality about the emperor with no clothes.
Rapist? You don’t want to go where Bubba’s issues are.
Are you referring to the multiple sexual assault cases lodged against Trump?
For trump, commie money, oil money,Islamic money,u.s.money all the same. His love is money.
“How does this have anything to do with Trump?” Really! You don’t think that it’s a problem that Trump’s campaign was run by a Russian agent? If that doesn’t bother you, you can take comfort in the fact that there are several others still with the campaign who are on both Trump’s and Putin’s payrolls. As reported by the LA Times: “[Carter Page] recently delivered a speech in Moscow slamming the United States for its “hypocritical focus on ideas such as democratization” and praising Russia for a foreign policy supposedly built on “noninterference,” “tolerance” and “respect.” (Try telling that to Ukraine.) Another Trump foreign policy advisor, retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, flew to Moscow last year to attend a gala banquet celebrating Russia Today, the Kremlin’s propaganda channel, and was seated at the head table near Putin. Flynn is a regular guest on Russia Today; he refuses to say whether he gets paid.”
Manafort’s crew made a stunning, pro-Putin change in the Republican Party platform (which Trump claims never to have read) and then Trump got caught lying about his campaign’s involvement.
Because American banks have blackballed Trump as his debt load recently soared as high as $630M, Trump turned to Russian oligarchs and banks to keep his businesses afloat, something that could not happen without Putin’s blessing. Donald Trump Jr. explained, “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets, We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”
You don’t think that it’s a problem that Trump’s campaign was run by a Russian agent?
Maybe it is time for someone to play you a chorus of Ross Perot singing
“They’re coming to get me, HA HA HA HA
“They’re coming to get me, HA HA”
Russian agent?
Manchurian candidate?
Oh dear.
Maybe it is time for you to give up your comic book collection and think about becoming an adult ~~ distasteful as that may seem to one like you.
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/6eed1ef61eb744e1aac584f8ac1f7247/trump-advisers-waged-covert-influence-campaign
Jennifer Rubin, the Washington Post’s ultra-conservative columnist, wrote today: “Paul Manafort’s association with Russian puppet Viktor Yanukovych, the former president of Ukraine, became toxic this week with the discovery of a “secret ledger” for monies allegedly funneled to Manafort and more detail on his work enabling Yanukovych to seize power and make off with billions before leaving for — where else? –Russia. The Post reported, “The discovery of the ledger could trigger scrutiny of Manafort’s connections to Ukraine by FBI officials, who have been on the ground in Kiev working under a June agreement with the anti-corruption agency.” And sure enough, Manafort resigned from the Trump campaign today.
Manafort’s connections to unsavory characters was no secret. His ties to Yanukovych and to horrendous human rights abusers have been widely reported. What brought it to a head was the potential for documentation and the concern he may have broken U.S. law in failing to register as a foreign lobbyist. None of this bothered Trump enough to part ways — until the vivid details emerged this week.”
Manafort has been exposed as being in clear violation of the Foreign Agent Registration Act. The FBI has been in the Ukraine for several months investigating corruption by Manafort’s employers, and this is not going to end well for Manafort as violations of FARA are a very serious crime.
Thos, go back to reading your comic books as we all know you’re NOT an authority on ANYTHING given your circus insults that do not add to the conversation.
A Presidential campaign run by an unregistered agent of a foreign government, someone who works for some of the world’s worst dictators, someone who is now revealed to have committed tax evasion, money laundering, and illegally providing funds for lobbyists –– and you’re not sure what the point of the story is. Trump loves you (the poorly educated).
ditto
hiLIARy’s Pay-for-Play? She said she’ll stop if voted in….really!? lol
They falling like dominoes. “YOU’RE FIRED”.
actually the FBI is also in Ukraine investigating Hillary’s campaign manger John Podesta and his brother tom who owns podesta group inc. and mercury LLC. who is also guilty of the same thing as what’s going on with manafort.
Do you know the parameters of an official FBI investigation versus pithy internet gossip ?
Trump is with the Russian commies!
Lots of laughs. As usual trump supporters state Clinton’s are evil for taking foreign money over years. Yet when the trump campaign manager takes money directly from a foreign dictator these same trump supporters suddenly become stupid, blind, and dumb. Manfort, etc are likely more corrupt than anyone.
If only the left wing news staff will do the same to find out how the Clinton Foundation gets is funding, but then of course these left wing will do anything to divert the attention to trump.
Amen. If only libs could comprehend depth of info rather than gloat in shallowness
If you’re tired of the left-leaning press, stay tuned to Fox news.
Fair & Balanced. Not like the Clinton Cartel News.
You too, this article has nothing to do with Clinton; there are articles related to the Foundation. This has to do with Trump’s group, now your position on what they did is?
He is not running in the general election, yes Hillary while at State Department approved the sale of mining properties to the Russian and Bill gets a speaking engagement and receive million$ for a 15 minutes oratory.
Unfortunately, even with a “lesser of two evils” approach, many are disanchanted with our policies and government in general. Some are fed by the campaign of a new solution such as Trump and will adhere to his claims and will shun all other information and see him as the new and as such the best option. It’s sad that a party (and both parties are guilty of this) of using tactics to sabotage the other in order to look good. See the last government shutdown to see the worst in government. In this case the Republicans dragged their feet in order to help cause the government shutdown and the resulting circus fueled by the Tea Party and the Republicans cost many Americans a lot in terms of lost income and lost services. Now, nobody seems to even remember that dark period. Now comes a new round of circus in the form of Trump which has become more of a tabloid media than anything. With this embarrassing disclosure Trumo now will have to try and do damage control as his financial dealings are now out in the open. Add to that his refusal to share his tax information and one wonders how he will manage to win over the undecided. It is obvious that the decided will continue to extol the Trump as the one regardless of this new revelation. It’s now up to both parties to try and win the undecided. For Trump, it will be an uphill battle and he will bring up whatever it takes even if they are lies in order to try and win this election.
The media is full of BS every single day–fabricated stories; half truths; innuendos–if the American people cannot see the bias reporting–as in DT is the most un-electable, despicable, unqualified person to run for office, and contrast to the non-coverage of HC; the soft coverage of her record and her time in office; and all the BS that she has done–then the us is really deserving to go down the tubes. hopefully people are not duped but it is said that a sucker is born every minute–lots of suckers around.
Manafort’s association with and direct compensation from corrupt Ukrainian leaders is much worse than Hillary’s using State Dept email while lobbying for her foundation. If Trump is going to call anyone “evil,” he should give that nickname to Manafort.
Why doesn’t Trump denounce his own campaign manager and call him Crooked Manafort, Spying Paul, Corrupt Comrade? Because Trump is a hypocrite with undeveloped thinking skills.
If it’s BS why did he resign or more likely fired. You don’t have to be a genius to figure that out. Oops forgot that you are a Chump supporter.
go read my comment at the bottom of the comment page on the article about trump shaking up his campaign, you will see that you are right.
Manafort was the advisor to a crook– Yanukovych who was a Putin puppet in the Ukraine. He fled the Ukraine and now lives in one of those oppulent Russian Oligarch or mob homes. This also led to a close relationship between Manafort and the small group of Putin’s friends and advisors– his aparat. Trump’s national security advisor, General Flynn is likewise connected in Russia with business and political connections and has been photgraphed at a public dinner with Putin seated in the place of honor next to Putin. This has helped Trump build his own relationships in Russia, including his connections to Putin. Which is the context for Trump’s statements supporting Putin, and potentially rejecting NATO. Manafort advised other dictators including Ferdinand Marcos. On the good side, he was an advisor to Reagan.
Now, not only Drumpf but also Manafort needs to release tax returns!
hiLIARy’s health issues is more important.
Okay, Trump is a lousy candidate and everyone associated with him is a criminal. Yeah, yeah I think we get it by now. Meanwhile…little Barry lied his butt off regarding ransom paid to the mullahs in Iran. The most corrupt husband wife team in politics is poised to return to the White House and resume selling out the country. Barrycare is imploding, wealth inequality is out of control, race relations in the US are as bad as they have ever been, the borders are wide open, Louisiana is underwater and the emperor goes on another round of golf, the middle east is on fire and the immature management at the SA thinks it’s funny to print a story about naked Trump statues.
O, the worst potus in American history.
You really should visit a doctor about your memory loss. lol
Boots…you folks haven’t figured out how to fix your Obamacare mess yet?
Hmmmn, why is Barry’s present favorabilty ratings one of the highest in modern politics, higher than Regan or eithe Bush?? Facts, not pithy platitudes…..
polls aren’t facts..O is the WORST now and will be noted as such by historians count on it.
Also voted respected Global leader two years in a row….what else you got?
Why is his approval ratings at 54%?
One Big A$$ Mistake America
Welcome back Jethro!
Trump in Louisiana giving morale support to the people. Obama on the 9th Hole working on his sand wedge. Crooked Hilliary working with speech writers for her next bash job on Trump.
And you forgot still trailing in the polls by a mile….
polls doesn’t mean anything this far out…but keep hoping.
Hahahahaha,polls doesn’t mean anything. Hahahahaha.
I’ll refer you to Nate Silver’s five thighs eight site,,,which emeprically says just the opposite. I don’t think you would know the difference between methodology and a manapua, let alone understand the statistical inflection points germane to this conversation.
The polls are scaring the sh!+ out of Trump, enough that he’s become dependent on a teleprompter to keep his foot from entering his mouth. Polls mean a lot to poor little Donald.
Trump doesn’t care about people. He doesn’t care about me or you. This was a smart public appearance for Trump, but it doesn’t make him a good person, you know that.
Pres. Obama, like all presidents before him, is faced with a disaster or urgent matter every single day. If he made a public appearance at every such event, he would have no time to do anything, no time to be at the White House (and would be criticized for that). In a few days, he will visit Louisiana and bring aid. Trump will be done with his appearance, and won’t be back unless he’s desperate for votes.
meanwhile the female felon has laundered $100s of millions in bribes from foreign nations and businesses using her foundation where she sold state department influence and had state department workers employed simultaneously at the foundation.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LYRUOd_QoM
WHO?
Crooked Rotten Lying hiLIARy..the only female felon.
WHO??
Are they going to be charged for espionage?
I believe “Donald Trump-Raping of a 13 year old girl in 1993-1994” will spark outrage before the presidential November elections.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lisa-bloom/why-the child-rape-ca_b_1061994.html
Some heavy stuff here folks.
Both articles where trump refers to billionaire convicted pedophile, Jefferey Epstein, as a personal friend and through whom trump had access to young under age females.

O.K., I just spoke to an SA representative who said that if I punched in an article from another site then they would flag it and not allow it to be seen/read because he/they don’t have time to qualify it, therefore, whatever I would type in to verify my statement would not be allowed. They/he doesn’t want readers to go elsewhere to read other sites not associated with SA.
So just in case there are other’s who wonder why their comments are flagged, that’s the jist of the explanation.
Trump’s campaign manager is a Russian agent, he just hired a womanizer who lost his job in a sex scandal, and he lets a child rapist sit right behind him at a rally.
What exactly does Donald’s “extreme vetting” mean? How has it worked for him so far? Yes, pretty useless.
Under a theoretical Trump presidency (sounds more ridiculous each day, huh), we will be run over by Russian agents for sure. Even terrorists will walk right in, as there is no substance in the extreme vetting hoopla, no plan, just an insincere empty promise.
I believe that trump’s “business” trip to Ireland/Scotland just before the Republican Convention was to secure contacts with Russian/Iranian operatives; why risk their presence in the US??
That’s where Manafort’s expertise/contact’s came into the mix.
you ok?
perfectly.
hiLIARy’s health issue is much more important…why is resting again? The falls she has taken is taking its toll on her…her head injury is worrisome.
Grow up!
the part no one mentions: Manafort was running a campaign that was performing horribly and trending for a historical landslide loss in November. Trump needs to blame someone, right?
Did Trump blame Manafort? No. You better check your sources and get informed.
Trump had only praise for Manafort.
If you give weight to official released statements, you need to become better educated. Whenever people get fired/resign, both sides say only nice things about each other. It’s nice, plus the parties avoid being sued for defamation.
Go back to the article and read son Eric Trump’s comments on his dad’s concerns. If you need help translating that, ask a smart person.
Then why was he fired? As the saying goes ” There is no honor among crooks”. Crooks will kill their best friend to save their as-.
Keonigohan, are you trolling me or are you serious? You must be trolling me because there’s no way you can be naive enough to believe what you just wrote… or can you?
on second thought… I think you totally do believe what you just wrote, as it falls in line with typical trump supporter behavior where you believe everything he says and take everything at face-value without ever questioning it. I bet you believe that Obama is “the founder of Isis” too, or did you only believe it until Trump admitted that he was being sarcastic… or does he always says what he means and means what he says? Or is he telling the truth, like he promised to always tell the truth yesterday (right before he told a flat-out lie about The State Department “confirming” that payment to Iran being for hostages). I guess I shouldn’t blame you for being so confused with your Uncle Donald giving you such conflicting messages on a daily basis.
Bwahahahaha….. Rus*ian S*y.
A foreign spy, involved with a US Presidential candidate?
You know? The election is going to happen despite the screaming and moaning of 20 or so Cranky Old Men in Hawaii. Perhaps it’s time, unless this is fulfilling some deep-seated need, to move on and comment and work to improve some real issues over which you have some control. Right now, you guys look like WWI soldiers in the trenches taking pot-shots at each other with absolutely no effect. I try not to read the posts but I must admit that it’s entertaining and edifying to see that there are a lot of people dumber than I am.
Which is not that easy.
Would you like to compare Curriculum Vitae I’ll bet you wen grad high school.
Oh sorry, I know you don’t know what the pesky Latin means. But amazingly, you can actually look it up on Google because your smart phone is much more so than you.
OK. Apparently ‘CV’ is Latin for ‘tape measure’
Clinton was careless with emails, but the key question is did she direct emails to anyone who should not have received them? She did not per the FBI. Had she given them to a News reporter someone writing a book on her– like General Petreus did, she would be under indictment today. Trump’s policy statement on Ukraine and NATO favoring Putin may have been a coincidence, but Trump’s national security advisor General Flynn has also been close to Putin(sat next to him at a public dinner) and has business dealings in Russia AND Manafort with strong ties to Putin is a dangerous tie. I get my information from the Conservative press– try reading the Weekly Standard and the American Conservative.
That’s been my contention; there’s a tie between, Putin>Iran>Ukraine>trump. There’s a reason why trump chose to go to Scotland/Ireland just before the Republican convention. I believe it was to collaborate with operatives of the former mentioned.
the way the comments are going around here people calling trump and Hillary evil, well let see would you vote for trump because you think he is evil or Hillary who we know is evil. I would pick trump because he is the lesser of two evils.
Well I would offer that the commentary here is basically masturbatory. Saying stuff provides immediate relief but it really doesn’t change the situation.
Fact: Trump is a disaster whenever he tries to run anything. He’s a successful concept guy, a salesman, a reality TV star. That’s great, and he deserves the millions he’s worth now. But he simply doesn’t have the CEO/presidential outlook necessary to hold that office.
His best role would have been to support a candidate he agrees with. He could go to rallies and get people excited, get air time on the news, and come up with catchy slogans and nicknames for opponents. If by accident he were to become POTUS, he would make the same (actually much worse and consequential) mistakes as when he botched up Trump Airlines.
Did he botch up Trump Air? Yes, look it up.
No it’s because you don’t know any better. Go ahead and waste your vote because there’s no way in hell hes going to win.
The story says “the New Yorker committed a series of errors”. Isn’t Clinton allegedly a New Yorker?
Like a true Trumpster, changing the subject.
Hillary was born and raised in Illinois, was educated in the East Coast, and after marriage lived in Arkansas and the White House with Bill. After that, she was a NY senator from 2001 – 2009. Then Secretary of State.
The New Yorker who “committed a series of errors” is Trump. Don’t change the subject. What were his mistakes?
Fewer than a third of Republican members of The POLITICO Caucus — a panel of activists, strategists and operatives in 11 key battleground states — believe Trump’s reshuffling will move the campaign in the right direction. Just as many, 31 percent, say the installation of Breitbart News executive Stephen Bannon as campaign CEO and pollster Kellyanne Conway as campaign manager, represent a turn for the worse.
“There is no way to right this ship,” said one New Hampshire Republican — who, like all respondents, completed the survey anonymously. “Changes in top staff this late in the game are always a sign that the campaign and candidate recognize that they are lost. In this case, they have gone from bad to worse. Campaigns do not need ‘CEOs,’ and pollsters are not qualified to manage presidential efforts. He is in a constant cycle of moving from one set of ‘yes men’ to another.”
Nearly a half-dozen GOP insiders compared the changes to “rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic” — a reference to Trump’s significant deficit in the polls.
A Virginia Republican made a similar analogy: “You can keep moving people in and out of the car, but so long as the drunk guy is driving it while blindfolded, the ride probably isn’t going to get any smoother.”
In fact, a slight plurality of Republicans, 37 percent, said they weren’t sure whether the changes would move the campaign in the right or wrong directions. For most of those insiders, Trump’s difficulties begin and end at the top.
“The problem was never the organization, or obvious lack thereof. The problem has always been Donald,” said an Iowa Republican. “He lost the election the day he descended down the escalator. There is no pivot, no second act, and no path to the presidency that runs down the road of racism and incendiary intolerance. He chose that road when he chose birtherism, and it’s a one-way route to ruin. How fitting that that final word associated with Trump, after all, will be ‘loser.’ ”
“No matter who he hires,” a Florida Republican added, “his Inner Voice runs the show.”
A “turn for the worse.” Buahahahahahahahahahahahahah, cricket crew……….

Buahahahahahahah. The most recent analytics, which include R pollsters, is that both VA and PA, are NO longer swing states, and decidedly blue. He has now placed himself of potentially winning the remaining swing states, and still NOT being able to get to 270 electoral college votes.
Nate Silver’s electoral map prediction is the stuff of nightmares for the GOP. The poll-whisperer shared a map, based on current polling, of a general election held today between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and—spoiler!—it’s not close.
Never mind key swing states like Ohio, Virginia, and Florida. The Republicans are in jeopardy of losing states like North Carolina, Arizona, and even Georgia if these numbers hold. All told, the margin of victory could exceed that of President Obama’s sweeping 2008 win over John McCain.
Harharharharharhar……cricket crew!!!!!!
The trouble with Trump’s disgruntled undereducated white male strategy…..
All along, one of the central questions of the election has been whether there are enough white men who will turn out to vote to lift Trump to victory. And there may be enough, demographers and pollsters said.
But for now it appears that after a ceaseless stream of provocations, insults and reckless remarks, Trump has damaged himself significantly with the one demographic that stands as a bulwark to a Clinton presidency.
“If you set out to design a strategy to produce the lowest popular vote possible in the new American electorate of 2016, you would be hard-pressed to do a better job than Donald Trump has,” said Whit Ayres, a pollster who has advised Republican presidential and Senate candidates for more than 25 years. “This is an electoral disaster waiting to happen.”
There are still nearly three months before Election Day, ample time to shift the dynamics of the race. But the question Republicans inside and outside the Trump campaign are asking is whether the damage Trump has caused himself during the last few weeks is irreparable.
Interviews with voters found that Trump’s increasingly outlandish behavior was rubbing many in his key voting bloc the wrong way.
“I liked Trump until he opened his mouth,” said Phil Kinney, a retired middle school administrator and a Republican from Bethlehem, Penn. The recent string of attacks Trump has unleashed, particularly his criticism of the family of a Muslim soldier killed in Iraq, left Kinney disappointed. Faced with the choice of voting for Trump or Clinton, Kinney said he may just stay home.
Two national polls conducted this month have Clinton catching up to Trump among men overall. An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll shows Clinton with 43 percent support among men to his 42 percent. A Bloomberg Politics survey put Trump with a low-single-digit lead among men, according to the pollster who conducted the survey, Ann Selzer.
Romney relied on his 27-point edge among white men to carry the male vote overall, but Trump is even more reliant on them because of how poorly he performs with nonwhite voters. If Trump is only doing as well or worse than Romney did with white men, he will never make up the votes he is losing among women and nonwhites.
Trump’s troubles with white men do not end there. The data reveal a huge gap in those who have a college education and those who do not. As Trump saw in the Republican primaries, he is most vulnerable with white men who have a college education or higher. Romney won that group, which votes at a higher rate than those without college degrees, by 21 points. Recent national polls have put Trump’s support with them far lower.
“We’re looking at a margin among college-educated white men for him that’s less than half what Romney won,” said Gary Langer, an independent pollster who conducted an ABC News/Washington Post survey this month that showed Trump losing overall to Clinton. “And that is problematic for Trump given his need to appeal to whites.”
Trump’s difficulties with men are symptoms of a larger vulnerability: disapproval that runs deeply through many segments and subgroups of the voting population.
Self-identified Republicans, white women, the wealthy and well-educated people of all races are turning their backs on him. Two national polls have recently put his support from African-Americans at an astonishing 1 percent. Separate Wall Street Journal/NBC News/Marist surveys in Ohio and Pennsylvania from July found that zero percent of black voters said they planned to vote for him. The latest poll of Latinos, conducted within the past week by Fox News, had Trump with 20 percent support, below the 27 percent that Romney received in 2012.
Even under the rosiest projections of white turnout, Trump would still lose the popular vote if his poll numbers among whites do not improve considerably.
Even under the best projections of his preferred turnout, Trump loses…..

O.K., so I read articles which you all can find by typing in on your search bar, (donald trump raping 13 year old girl). Anyway these charges are still on going and I suppose will be flashing across your tv screen before the Presidential Election.
The trump folks tried to squash this based on statute of limitations, but the courts have allowed it’s continuance based on the fact that the girl whose an adult now, did not have/offered legal counsel. She claims she was threatened by trump and his pal Jefferey Epstein a convicted pedophile at that time, of physical harm to herself and her family.
trump refers to Epstein as his personal friend, and a fellow billionaire who provided access to young girls for sex, etc.
Anyway, check out these articles on the internet; one article by “snopes.” Another by, Huffington post, written by, Lisa Bloom.
Sarge22 is AWOL and I wonder why?
Here is another interesting and all-too-telling thing about Trump–prior to the general election, Trump would tweet with great ferocity and frequency about the polls. Why–because they all had him in the lead in the primary. Now, not so muCh.
In the runup to the Republican presidential primary, Donald Trump tweeted about polls. Like … a lot. It made sense: Trump was winning in the polls, and the Trump brand is all about winning. But as “all of them” now show Trump losing, we wondered — being rather poll-obsessed ourselves — whether Trump would still be interested in informing his Twitter followers about the state of the race.
As you can tell from the chart, Trump rarely tweets1 about polls these days. Indeed, he’s done so only four times in the past 30 days. During the same period in the primary season — as far out from the Iowa caucuses as we are from Election Day now — he tweeted about polls 103 times. Now, Trump has been reduced to sharing surveys from pollsters such as Zogby Analytics, a firm that earned a C- in our pollster ratings and that has a spotty history.
Deep down Trump knows he is losing, and badly. Now, it’s time that the gits that make up cricket crew make the same recognition…….
None of this matter. Hillary this, Hillary that – Trump this, Trump, that. Only thing that will matter is in November when Trump will go down as the biggest loser of any presidential race in the modern era.
Cricket crew is getting awfully quiet nowadays………
Knock, knock?
Who’s there?
Donald.
Donald who.?????!!!! Exactly
Sarge, lespark, moi lee, tita girl, blue eyed devil and all you other losers. Where are you?
I’m guessing they’re over on that article about Hillary offering to modify her foundation’s “contributions” rules if elected. You know, the same article none of you libbies want to touch…
Meanwhile, vote your conscious, with two guys going nowhere quick.
I plan to. And you do whatever you have to do to make yours feel better..
Donald Trump landed Friday in flood-ravaged Louisiana Friday, where he consoled homeowners and toured devastated communities, telling one homeowner he is “going to rebuild.”
The Republican presidential nominee, with running mate Mike Pence at his side, stopped at the home of Jimmy and Olive Gordan in Denham Springs, where the couple was still sweeping out floodwaters from their home. A ruined couch, chair and bedroom furniture were piled on their lawn, and Jimmy Gordan told Trump he spent his 79th birthday on the roof of his house.

“I just don’t know what we’ll do,” the man told Trump.
“You’re going to rebuild,” Trump told him as the two hugged. “It’s going to be so beautiful.”
Trump and Pence received a warm reception as they toured a heavily-damaged portion of East Baton Rouge Parish. A crowd of supporters near a local Baptist church where volunteers have gathered to feed flood victims cheered the pair.
“Thank you for coming, Mr. Trump,” one woman screamed.
“We knew you would be here for us!” another shouted.
The candidate also met with Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council. Perkins own home was flooded. The prominent Christian conservative says he wants Trump to “let the country know” about the extent of the La flood.

Many Louisianans feel the flooding has been ignored by the national news.
Neither President Obama nor Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton have visited the state since historic rains flooded rivers and creeks, killing 13, wrecking 40,000 homes and affecting more than 100,000 resident
The highlights of all his lows (and there is a bunch of them).
“If the disgusting and corrupt media covered me honestly and didn’t put false meaning into the words I say,” Donald Trump tweeted on Aug. 14, “I would be beating Hillary by 20 percent.”
That’s arguable. Still, one can understand Mr. Trump’s frustration. Practically every day, the nominee bludgeons all conventional campaign norms and niceties. Unfortunately, many journalists, editors, pundits and politicians seem flummoxed by the task of describing his behavior. And so they fall back on threadbare jargon:

Yaaaaay for Ike! Today he learned how to cut and paste.
So, what’s your made up degree du jour? And remember, it’s PhD.
I wouldn’t be surprised if trumps running mate, Pence drops out of the race entirely before the General Election. I think he’s starting to feel like he made a bad decision.
Hey AP? What’s up with that? Where’s the story of Trump and Pence Helping Out and Passing out Food to the Flood victims of Louisiana? While President Obama is still out PLAYING GOLF! And Only then seeing Trump and Pence helping out, tells them he’ll be flying out this coming Tuesday? Talk about “Johnny Come Lately”! Here’s another one . “Hillary Come Lately”. lol. Only then, After seeing this, what Donald Trump and Pence had unselfishly done to help out the Flood Victims of Louisiana, Hillary decides to Call the Gov. of Louisiana to express her concerns to them ? Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Yep you could say……..What goes around comes around! Full Circle!
Remember Katrina? When GW assessed the Hurricane damage from the air? And coined him the “Fly By President”! You folks just unleashed on GW Bush!Relentless!

Food! True rations would have to be unloaded with forklifts. He should have bought everyone a happy meal coupon from McDonald’s.
Always and forever the Cheapskate. He didn’t look like his heart was in it when he was passing out that recycled food. Probably bought some expired stuff from a food warehouse. All a publicity stunt. Who in their right mind would haul loose stuff. They didn’t. They wanted to dramatize the moment and unload item by item. Give me a break.
Obozo and HiLIARy MIA
can’t give happy meal coupons liberal press would make a big issue out of it, and blame trump for bribing people to get there votes to elect him as president.
actually what manafort did as campaign manger for trump and podesta campaign manager did for Hillary this is all legal its just the liberal AP press that wants to make it sound bad and that’s why they jumped manfort instead of podesta, now we know who the press and tv media backs the most.
You should change your tag to 64hoogivesahoot.
Manafort’s problems don’t end with his stepping down as trumps campaign CEO; as this article points out, (U.S. Foreign Agents Registration Act, specifically states that people who lobby on behalf of foreign political figures or political parties must provide detail reports about their actions to the Justice Department’s Counterespionage Unit. A violation can result up to five years in prison and a fine up to $250,000).
Manafort claims he did not receive the $12+ million dollars payment from Ukrainian employer?, we’ll see how he pays for the fine. The money trail is still under investigation from both sides of the Atlantic.
