A Kauai Circuit Court jury Thursday found a 33-year-old Lihue woman guilty of three felony charges related to possession of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The jury found Jennifer Carvalho guilty of one count of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and two counts of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was acquitted of three other charges.
Carvalho was the subject of a high-speed chase Dec. 3 by police. Officers recovered drug items, prosecutors said.
She was previously convicted in 2006 of third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.
She is awaiting sentencing in another case, in which she pleaded no contest to methamphetamine possession. Carvalho will be sentenced Dec. 8 in the case.
