Naked Donald Trump statues pop up in cities across the U.S.

A woman pointed at a statue of a naked Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, today, in New York’s Union Square. The statue was removed by New York City Department of Parks & Recreation employees.
NEW YORK » It’s Donald Trump like you’ve never seen him before.
Life-size naked statues of the Republican presidential nominee greeted passers-by in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Cleveland today. They are the brainchild of an activist collective called INDECLINE, which has spoken out against Trump before.
In a statement, the collective said the hope is that Trump, the former host of “The Apprentice” reality TV series, “is never installed in the most powerful political and military position in the world.”
The statues were created by an artist in Cleveland. They are of a stern-faced Trump with his hands folded over a bulging belly. Some parts of male genitalia are visible while others seemingly are missing.
“It is through these sculptures that we leave behind the physical and metaphorical embodiment of the ghastly soul of one of America’s most infamous and reviled politicians,” INDECLINE said in its statement.
Trump’s campaign declined to comment on the statues.

A statue in New York’s Union Square quickly drew the attention of people, many of whom posed for photographs with it, before it was removed by the city’s parks department.
“NYC Parks stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small,” parks spokesman Sam Biederman joked.
A video posted by DNAInfo showed onlookers booing and groaning as workers snapped the statue off its base, leaving the feet behind, and loaded it face-down into the back of a pickup truck. One woman yelled, “Take his nasty feet, too!”
Democratic Mayor Bill de Blasio, when asked about the naked Trump statue, said, “That is a frightening thought. When he’s wearing clothes I don’t like him.”
INDECLINE said statues on the West Coast were still in place.
This wasn’t the group’s first anti-Trump endeavor. The collective also has spray-painted a U.S.-Mexico border fence in Tijuana, Mexico, with an image of a gagged Trump.
The group’s other projects have included putting the names of African-Americans killed by police over the inlaid stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and painting the words “This Land Was Our Land” across an unused airstrip in the Mojave Desert.

Pretty sure I did not say the article should not have been run. Have you seen little Barry’s ears. Heck, he could fly around the world with those things. That sounds like a newsworthy story. Have you seen all of the unsightly folds of loose skin on Hillary’s neck. That also sounds like a newsworthy story. The SA should “ran” those stories. But that would violate the 1st commandment of journalism.

Normally I’d vote for his opponent if it’s a close race, and third party if it looks like she’ll win anyway. But to make sure Trump loses in a huuuge landslide, so he’ll never consider running again, my vote will go to Clinton, rain or shine. Never Trump!

I’m not a blind follower of anyone. Both Clinton and Trump have made dumb mistakes. Trump makes dumb mistakes DAILY, and his blind followers cannot understand why tens (thousands?) of top Republicans denounce him. Anyway, Trump doesn’t care for me or you, and even if he did care, doesn’t have the executive thinking skills to build a working system.

This one did not appear in the Main Stream Media during the run-up to the 2008 Presidential election…2 “partners” in West Hollywood, a gay enclave of Los Angeles, expressed their disdain for Sarah Palin and her stance on the gay rights issue by hanging her in effigy by a noose from their chimney. Tour buses were actually going by the house so tourists could take pictures of the display. People somehow found it amusing. The mayor of West Hollywood asked them to take it down, and they refused. I thought at the time, can you IMAGINE what would have happened if the situation had been reversed and it was Obama who was hung in effigy? But, the liberal Main Stream Media being what it is, made no mention of this despicable display. The juvenile antics of Liberals, however grossly poor in taste, always seem to get a free pass. By not condemning such acts, they give their silent approval.

Wrong. That story did appear in the mainstream media; that’s where I heard about it. I just did a google search on it, and there are still plenty of “mainstream media” stories about it you can find online, over 7000 of them. Including one story, dated Oct 30 2008, saying it had been taken down after another discussion with the mayor. So you are wrong, the mainstream media did make a lot of mention of the display, and the fellows that did it didn’t get a “free pass,” they were made to take it down.
Only a matter of time before the statues begin showing up for sale on sites like eBay, Craigslist, and Amazon.
I wonder if those laughing and ridiculing will think it’s funny when Trump’s side exercises their 1st Amendment rights as well. And that NYC Parks Director needs to be disciplined.

Trump has already banned newspapers from his “shows” who didn’t agree with him. As president he will be sure to try to repeal the First Amendment.
