Eastbound lanes of South King St. near University Ave. reopened after fatal crash
A motorcycle rider in his late 60s or early 70s died today after a truck-motorcycle crash on South King Street near Kahoaloha Lane, police said.
The crash occurred about 3:50 p.m., according to Emergency Medical Services, and paramedics transported the motorcyclist in critical condition to a hospital.
Police said he later died at the hospital.
The eastbound lanes of King Street from University Avenue to Kahoaloha Lane were closed at about 4:17 p.m. and reopened by 7:48 p.m.
