Trump suggests Clinton emails linked to Iranian’s execution

In this photo taken on July 15, 2010, Shahram Amiri, an Iranian nuclear scientist attends a news briefing while holding his son Amir Hossein as he arrives at the Imam Khomeini airport just outside Tehran, Iran, after returning from the United States.

NEW YORK >> Republican Donald Trump is suggesting that rival Hillary Clinton’s emails may be responsible for the death of an Iranian nuclear scientist who was executed for spying for the United States.

Trump, using the “people are saying” sentence structure he often favors to make accusations, tweeted tonight: “Many people are saying that the Iranians killed the scientist who helped the U.S. because of Hillary Clinton’s hacked emails.”

He didn’t say which people he meant. The FBI has said there is no evidence that Clinton’s emails were hacked due to her use of a private account and server during her tenure as secretary of state.

Clinton’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton, a Trump supporter, suggested in an interview Sunday that there could be a link between the emails and the execution of Shahram Amiri.

Cotton said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that there “were on Hillary Clinton’s private server, there were conversations among her senior advisers about this gentleman.”

“That goes to show just how reckless and careless her decision was to put that kind of highly classified information on a private server,” he said.

Amiri, an Iranian scientist, defected to the U.S. at the height of Western efforts to thwart Iran’s nuclear program. When he returned in 2010, he was given a hero’s welcome and greeted with flowers by government leaders. Then he mysteriously disappeared.

Amiri’s case indirectly found its way into the spotlight last year with the release of State Department emails sent and received by Clinton.

One email forwarded to Clinton by senior adviser Jake Sullivan on July 5, 2010 — just 10 days before Amiri returned to Tehran — appears to reference the scientist.

“We have a diplomatic, ‘psychological’ issue, not a legal one. Our friend has to be given a way out,” the email by Richard Morningstar, a former State Department special envoy for Eurasian energy, read. “Our person won’t be able to do anything anyway. If he has to leave, so be it.”

Another email, sent by Sullivan on July 12, 2010, appears to obliquely refer to the scientist just hours before his appearance at the Iranian-interests section at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington became widely known.

“The gentleman … has apparently gone to his country’s interests section because he is unhappy with how much time it has taken to facilitate his departure,” Sullivan wrote.

Clinton’s decision to store her emails on a private server in her New York home sparked an FBI investigation and has become a dominant issue in the presidential campaign.

this is why the female felon has not held an open press conference since last december, avoiding real reporters questions about her scandals lifetime pursuits of crime and the release of names of confidential foreign agents used by the u.s. in gathering intel.

some of the latest criminal pursuits: the emails, the clinton foundation laundering money, her use of the u.s. state department to leverage multi million dollar uranium and coal deals with russia and other near east countries.

her racist policies punished black urban youths she called super predators without conscience and empathy that need to be brought to heel.

the female felon is using the criminal pursuits as a shield to deflect questions of her health. she has aged, unfavorably so, and suffered fainting spells, falls, concussion, broken bones and long periods of exhaustion and confusion that may have contributed to her believing that she came under fire in bosnia or that she told the truth about her email crimes.

Gee, Chump makes another wildly speculative, unsubstantiated lie to divert attention from his own ineptitude and his crashing campaign. Imagine that.

Her emails had nothing to do with outing this man. He publicly announced he was a spy 6 years ago. Trump is infamous for outrageous lies and claims based on nothing but his cynicism. He knows the public won’t remember that the claim was false. They will remember the charge. Birther claims much? Trump also claimed that the DOH Director here died in a plane crash because she was silenced by Obama. He made that claim on the horrible Fox Snooze station. He is famous for chaos.

When is he going to stop trashing Hillary and start talking about how he really going to help America be good again? I can’t stand her but he is just full of it, and his followers are not too bright.

I was on it; revealed nothing that would help America be good again.
He did manage to foster encourage 2nd amendment followers to, maybe become violent toward Clinton.

I was wondering why trump had to REALLY make that trip to Scotland/Ireland just before the Republican National Convention? I believe it was to make personal contacts with Putin/Iranian operatives to further discuss utilizing Clinton emails to disrupt November elections. Thus, we see what happened on August 7, 2016. Iran hanged this Iranian Amiri, because they claimed after having him in custody since 2010, that he was found guilty for revealing nuclear secrets to the enemy.(how convenient again, in view of what trump asserts is related to the Clinton emails?) (trump+Russia+Iran=>emails) Go figure.
Not only trump, but the hoodlum-Putin, who owns a lot of real estate in Russia and around the world, and who uses his political might to have his opponents assassinated. No different with Iran either. Their all inter-connected.

The FBI does not know if Lyin’ Clinton’s email server was hacked. Could have been. Maybe Chelsea’s email was hacked? Bill’s? The wedding planner the florist, the organists, caterers, attorneys all could have been a Russian operatives?
Extreme Carelessness. Loose emails sink ships with real people on board.

The parents of two of the four Americans who died in the Benghazi attack in 2012 filed a lawsuit Monday against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, alleging her “reckless handling” of classified information contributed to their deaths.

the female felon will face deposition and questions from private lawyers not in civil service and whose careers do not depend on a democrat administration.

Yeah, unfortunately they won’t be able to use any of the taxpayer- funded congressional committee’s investigation findings, will they?

Another Trump lie where he repeats someone’s lie as if he has no responsibility for what comes out of his mouth. Amiri defected to the U.S. after aiding the U.S. for several years; while he was in Iran he provided information about the Iranian nuclear program. Once he defected, Iran knew that he was providing that information. As Clinton stated in 2010, Amiri was free to leave the U.S. at any time, and, after several years, he chose to do so, returning to Iran to face whatever happened there. Clinton emails had NOTHING to do with his execution. Read this 2010 story in the Washington Post for more information: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/07/16/world/middleeast/16iran.html?_r=1

Consider the source: Important to remember that Sen Cotton (aka “Tehran Tom”), who made up this bogus charge against Clinton, was the instigator of the letter to Iranian authorities, signed by 46 other Republicans, that some consider a treasonous violation of the Logan Act. Stopping short of calling it treason, retired Major Gen. Paul D. Eaton said, “I would use the word mutinous. I do not believe these senators were trying to sell out America. I do believe they defied the chain of command in what could be construed as an illegal act. What Senator Cotton did is a gross breach of discipline, and especially as a veteran of the Army, he should know better. I have no issue with Senator Cotton, or others, voicing their opinion in opposition to any deal to halt Iran’s nuclear progress. Speaking out on these issues is clearly part of his job. But to directly engage a foreign entity, in this way, undermining the strategy and work of our diplomats and our Commander in Chief, strains the very discipline and structure that our foreign relations depend on, to succeed.”

Washington Post factcheck (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/08/09/trumps-remarkable-suggestion-that-clintons-emails-led-to-an-iranian-defectors-death/?hpid=hp_special-topic-chain_fact-check-220pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory) concludes :

“As can be seen with this timeline of newspaper articles, the defection and then return of Amiri was widely covered in the news media in 2009 and 2010. Iranian officials could have learned everything they needed to know about Amiri’s defection from reading The Post. Moreover, Iran first publicly raised questions about his disappearance. There was little to be learned from the cryptic messages in Clinton’s emails, even if Iran had somehow gained access to Clinton’s server.

Mystery solved! And four more Pinocchios for Donald Trump.
