Officials: Man shoots at ‘Pokemon Go’ players outside house
PALM COAST, Fla. >> Authorities say a Florida man fired shots at two late-night “Pokemon Go” players in a car outside his house but no one was injured.
Flagler County Sheriff’s Office spokesman James Troiano says in a news release that the homeowner awoke to a noise outside about 1:30 a.m. Saturday and saw a car sitting in the road in front of his house. He told authorities he got a handgun and approached the vehicle.
Troiano says the two teens in the car sped away and the man fired several shots at them.
Later that morning, he says, the mother of one of the teens called the sheriff’s office when they realized the car had a flat tire and several bullet holes in it. She told officials the two had been playing the smartphone app.
The release says the investigation is ongoing.

So arrest the teens.
For leaving? Shooting them in the back? Self defense? Not really. Gun owners like this give guns a bad name.
The teens or Yosemite Sam?
For sitting in a car on a public street? What are you smoking?
Who’s dumber, Pokemon Go players or NRA members? Probably a toss-up.
Nah you got us all beat. My bet is you’re voting Hilliary; that makes you the almighty “dumber” as you put it so eloquently.
He’s got you beat alright…
As an advocate to the 2nd amendment I will say that the idea of putting a label on a gun that says do not use when target is moving away would make sense.
However, with that being said, could the teens have threatened the man before fleeing?
Just saying…
Unless they’re shooting at him while speeding away, they have no business being “targets” in the first place. As it’s presented, there’s no way to view story other than an act of idiocy on the part of the shooter.
Let investigation play out.
They lucky only the tires had “several bullet holes in it.”
Luck had nothing to do with it. Obviously, the homeowner was a terrible shot!
“Pokemon Go”…more Darwin Awards in the making!
In this case, Darwin would have been relevant if the shooter had shot himself.
From headline, I thought this is a guy who has had it with Pokemon Go, but just a crazed FL shooter creating altercations when hearing noises on the public street fronting his home and shooting as teens speed away ~ ~ If this is a Pokemon “gym” or other designated spot, Pokemon Beware !
Loving the Yosemite Sam comment ! !
